Since 1923, Hill County families have turned to Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors for professional, caring funeral service at times of loss. Our hallmark through the years has been to provide outstanding service beyond what is expected to families of all faiths and means. From the beginning we have remained family owned and operated.

We have continued to honor our heritage and strength of reputation by keeping the firm name the same as it has been since 1924. We realize every life is unique. Our caring and attentive staff will provide the support, counsel and suggestions to assist in making the arrangements you select a comforting, memorable tribute to each individual.
Services
At Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends.
Beginning in 1923, Ford Marshall & H. V. Aderhold purchased the funeral home previously owned by R. B. Leatherwood. Established in Hillsboro on the courthouse square in 1912, Leatherwood had moved it to "the Arcade Building" at Church and Franklin Streets in 1919. The new owners initially called the firm "Marshall & Aderhold."
A funeral service is a special time for family and friends to comfort one another, begin to find healing and celebrate a life well lived. Whether you choose burial or cremation, you can hold a funeral service to honor your loved one. We are happy to provide a traditional funeral or something completely unique.
The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members. Pre-payment will protect you from the rising cost of prices, and it will not be a financial burden on your loved ones.
Meaningful memorialization of a loved one's passing can transform, heal, and comfort us. It highlights our loved ones' sacrifices, reminds us of the things that they value, and inspires us with their life stories. Have the Talk of a Lifetime, a program created by The Funeral and Memorial Information Council, was designed to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives.

Very compassionate and easy to work with. Allowed me to set up payment plan with no money down. When my wife died a nurse at the hospital recommended Marshall and Marshall and I don't know what I would have done without them.
