I called in another company and they weren't able to help repair our system because it is an odd duck/unicorn kind of system. They told me to call NEHAC. I did and, in spite of being a new customer, they were able to get a tech to my house that same afternoon....and Shane actually had the right part to get us back up and running! When the temps were to get down to 22 degrees, I was resigned to freezing my patootie off until the part could be ordered and arrive. Thankfully, we are all snug as bugs in a rug tonight! Thanks so much!

I'd stay away from this company.
They double charge you on pounds of coolant. Their 1st pound is $118 then $89 after that. My local company charges $69/lb (and that's high). If you need them for an emergency they demand an additional $100 to just get out of the truck. That's on top of their regular service charge. If they have to return to finish a job they charge you another service charge.
Also, they use scare tactics to make you believe you need a new system if they have to recharge your system after three times. This is a lie! This law only applies to industrial size units of 500 lbs+.

It was 19 degrees on Wednesday evening, but it was warm and cozy in my home in Otto, NC on Wednesday night. Our furnace went out on Wednesday afternoon. I called our HVAC provider, Northeast Georgia Heating and Air, at 4:58 pm, assuming I would be out of luck for the day. I made the call.
Not only was I provided “over the phone” suggestions that might resolve the problem, but once it was determined that I needed professional assistance, a technician was at my home in less than an hour. Oops, he did not have the part needed for the repair. Less than an hour later, he called, asking to return
