Our mission is to broaden the life of every child we encounter through caring and exceptional therapeutic services. Through our state and board certified therapists we will provide services that not only improve the quality of life and potential for success of each child, but family support and education for parents of children with special needs.
Our Therapists are experienced in the treatment of expressive and receptive language disorders, articulation disorders, apraxia of speech, autism spectrum disorders, cognitive delays, sensory processing disorder, learning disabilities, ADD and ADHD, torticollis, plagiocephaly, traumatic brain injury and feeding disorders just to name a few.
Our state licensed Speech Language Pathologists are trained to evaluate and treat a variety of speech, voice, and language disorders. They can provide evaluation and treatment of expressive and receptive language disorders, communication disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, cognitive skills such as problem solving and reasoning, feeding and swallowing, oral motor skills, augmentative communication, and behavior management.
Referral process: Southland Therapy accepts referrals from parents, doctors, Babynet, health departments and other state agencies serving children in Georgia and South Carolina. If your child is covered under your private insurance and also has Medicaid, we ask that you bring both cards to the initial evaluation appointment.
Our state licensed Physical Therapists will evaluate and treat the needs of the pediatric population through a wide variety of modalities. These therapists are specialized in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of pediatric and adolescent age children through a variety of congenital, developmental, neuromuscular, skeletal, or acquired disorders/diseases.

My Grandson has completed Speech Therapy at Southland and I can not tell you how much it helped him!! He is now doing behavior therapy and it is also helping him! He loves it so much it is difficult to get him to leave! Everyone is always very friendly and very helpful! He Loves His Miss Nicole!! Thank you for all you do to help our most treasured gift!!❤️

I went to this business because my son needs serious attention with his speech, I paid the $100 deposit for the evaluation, but they we're very unprofessional and extremely impatient with my child. I had to deal with attitude, eyes rolling, and blowing off every time my child didn't cooperate like they wanted or he got distracted. I really had faith in them and they seemed like a good place to take him at first but now I feel really bad and I'm highly disappointed because I let him down. Don't waste your money. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. Take my advice and save your $100

Services where horrible. Everyone was rude, my therapist was very inpatient. Not to mention they waited servals weeks to schedule my sons appointment and at check out their system did not accept my credit card and one of their staff members implied “that I didn’t have any money on my card” When it was the credit card machine and not not my card. Don’t come here

My son has been coming to Southland Therapy for about five months. We love Ms.Pat! What a difference we see in my sons day to day language skills. Ms.Pat is the highlight of my sons week, he looks forward to seeing her. I would definitely recommend Southland Therapy to anyone seeking a truly helpful experience.

This place is amazing, my son has been coming here for 4 years for Speach and occupational therapy and they have always been very kind and professional. Regina and the front staff are always so attentive and always help me with my crazy work schedule. And the therapist are so great my son has come a long way thanks to their help and patience and advice. We have been coming with Megan for almost 3 years for occupational therapy and all I can say is that she is the best. For Speach my son has been working with different girls but I have never had a complaint they have been very good with him to

My son Ridge has been attending therapy services with Southland Pediatric Therapy for about 3 years now. Everyone has always been so kind and courteous. He loves going to see his therapists and the front office staff! He has so much fun with all of them. They really make it a comforting place for the parents and the children. I love watching the progression he has made and so does my family. I am never dissapointed and fir that I'm GREATLY APPRECIATIVE of everyone at Southland! Keep up the great work!

We used home PT services from Southland for our son and the services were less than stellar... the PT would call and cancel with a few minutes notice then text to come with a few minutes notice. The worse part is she recorded cancelled visits as "family cancelled". When I called to complain Regina stated there was no other therapist available and we had several cancellations therefore services were denied. I informed her Aetna sent me a claim that services were paid and she said well we didn't file it so that is inaccurate or "maybe my boss filed it".

My daughter receives speech, physical and occupational therapy at Southland. Our therapists are wonderful, and we are treated like family every time we walk in the door. My daughter has come so far since we started to go to Southland. I highly recommend Southland to anyone seeking pediatric therapies.
