Life Point Acupuncture
The licensed board-certified acupuncturists at Life Point create individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs. Our integrative approach gets to the root of your symptoms, unlocking the body's healing potential. Acupuncture is a safe and effective healing technique in Chinese medicine that restores biochemical balance in the body, relieves muscle tension, and stimulates the immune system.

While most associate it simply as a system of inserting needles at specific points to alleviate pain, acupuncture is a proven medical protocol that has been used for thousands of years to prevent, diagnose and treat various diseases and ailments, as well as to improve and maintain health and wellbeing.
Services
Life Point Acupuncture Newport Beach is conveniently located in the heart of Orange County near John Wayne Airport. Our team of acupuncturists have been serving the health and wellness needs of patients throughout OC since 2013. We are known for providing acupuncture treatments that enhance fertility, nurture pregnancy, and support women's health.
The practitioners at Life Point Acupuncture provide a wide variety of services to meet the needs of our patients. We aim to not only treat the symptoms that brought you to us, but also to address any other underlying health factors to prevent the problem from affecting your quality of life. Life Point offers safe and effective therapies that offer patients maximum health and wellness benefits with minimum risk.
Acupuncture pregnancy treatments help relieve lower back and pelvic discomfort that can come during pregnancy. Research also shows that acupuncture is an effective treatment for morning sickness. We also commonly treat a breech positioned baby between 34 and 37 weeks gestation. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) we use moxibustion at a point on the lateral side of your pinkie toe to turn the baby face down.
Acupuncture pain treatments have been used by Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioners for centuries. While Americans might be new to the idea of acupuncture for pain management and relief, more and more physicians are recommending it as an effective tool for those suffering from lower back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, arthritis pain, knee pain, and headaches (including migraines), among other issues.
Acupuncture is a safe and effective way to maintain good health and wellbeing throughout your pregnancy, from your first trimester to postpartum. At Life Point Acupuncture Newport Beach, our skilled practitioners use thin, hair-like needles to help relieve many of the pain, aches, and discomforts of pregnancy.

Great experience at Life Point! Very friendly and professional staff who were extremely helpful at answering questions I had and giving me information on acupuncture as this was my first time. Could not recommend more!

I started going to Life Point Acupuncture about a year ago for arm pain that was caused due to my poor work set up and sitting in front of a computer for such a large part of my day. Lauren was great from the beginning; she listened to me when I explained everything then got to work. With her help, I have been able to lessen my pain drastically and gain some strength back in my arm. I see her regularly and I can say with certainty that she has been instrumental to my recovery. Lauren is AMAZING at what she does. The experience from start to finish at Life Point is like taking a mini vacation. Renee

Lauren is a healer, no doubt about it. I can literally feel when my body needs her treatment for tune ups from rocking the baby and just day to day mama duties. I am very picky to what treatment I do and there’s a lot of options out there. I’ve gone to physical therapy for my postpartum “mommy wrist“ issues as well as a chiropractor for my back from nursing and constantly rocking the baby… So much waste of time and money! Also my husband was rear-ended and for almost 4 months he was going to a chiropractor to help with his back, nothing the chiropractor did helped. He was prescribed pain

My boyfriend and I recently visited Life Point Acupuncture. He got cupping and I got acupuncture for my first time ever. I was a little bit nervous but it was an incredible experience. Lauren gave incredibly personalized care and I felt great after. I am officially an acupuncture convert, will be going back to Life Point soon.

I've been treated by Lauren for nearly seven years now. Lauren was recommended to me by a very special Nurse Navigator at Mission Hospital. This was big for me to have a medical professional recommend Acupuncture.
The treatment for my original issue was taken care of in less than a few months. Now, because I'm a believer in Lauren and acupuncture, I see Lauren for everything from headaches, to back pain, & even planters fascitis. Life Point Acupuncture is a life saver.

Highly skilled acupuncturist! I was skeptical when I first started receiving treatment but now Im hooked! Lauren is very knowledgable, and makes you feel so comfortable right off the bat! I initially was treated for a stiff neck, and pain in my upper back and shoulders and the day after treatment I had full range of motion and the pain was gone. I would recommend Lauren to anyone!

I visit Lauren or Tara every week and they are so attentive at treating me each week for the persisting issues and the new ones that come up. They always ask how I feel if anything in particular, and if anything is bothering me. They always make sure you are comfortable and I always leave feeling ready for my week. I am very prone to muscle tightness in my neck and traps and they do acupuncture, cupping and scraping each week to loosen those muscles and relieve pain or soreness. Treatments take anywhere from one to two hours!
