Originally from southern California, she and her family moved to Sugar Land, Texas, in 2000, where she spent the remainder of her childhood. She attended the University of Texas in Austin and graduated with degrees in both Economics and Biology in 2011.
In order to pursue her career, she continued her studies towards dentistry at the University of Texas School of Dentistry, in Houston, and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2015.We love that we are able to provide patients with a wide array of procedures and services. For most people even haring the word dentist makes them cringe. I used to as well, I actually don't mind going to the dentist. Kim welcomes me with a smile, knows me by sight. They always get me right back and all the dental professionals are wonderful and truly care! Any problems I can just go up there and they always see me right away. Dr. Tran is patient and really a great dentist, Hannah is one of his dental assistants that is so bubbly and has little tricks to make it as painless as possible! Next week I have my teeth cleaning and I am very happy with all services I have been provided!

9-28-2021 Update - Had some cost issues come up between Tropical and Aetna but everything straightened out. Very satisfied with exceptional customer service.
Original Review...Had wisdom teeth removed last week and the experience was great. I have been putting this off for many years and finally decided to get them removed. Emiko was amazing as was Kenneth. Highly recommend this facility for wisdom teeth removal.

Kim, Brad, Kenneth & Emiko took such good care of me, I've been to 3 dentists in the last year, the others try and push services on me that I cannot afford or do not need. I knew I needed alot of work done from years of making sure my kids teeth were good while neglecting mine. They took care of it all at a fair price, helped me with financing and the work is excellent.
I will be here regularly to make sure my teeth stay looking and feeling as good as they do now!

My experience in the Tropical dental office is just exceptional even though I had to drive 45 minutes to get there. Emiko Charbonneau has been my technicien from the beginning of this very complicated procedure of having a denture with implant. Not only she did her job with this utmost conscientious mind of hers, but she took the ātimeā to explain to me and in details, all I was going to experience and allowed me to come by every time I was bothered by pain or discomfort. I never experienced such a dedication, patience, and especially her work which she did to a perfection rarely seen.

Iām not sure anyone loves going to the dentist and I am no different. Every interaction with staff has been wonderful. They always greet with a smile and address any concerns. Dr. Korloo is hands down the best! Sheās gentle, and always willing to answer each and every question I have. I hope to not visit often, but I donāt dread visiting the dentist anymore!

The dentists (I've worked with two so far), hygienists, and RDAs are top notch - fast, efficient, and sensitive about your comfort.

Had four wisdom teeth taken out here. Expressed to them multiple times that I was afraid and cautious about the procedure. The dentist who did the procedure was extremely patient and gentle. Due to the amount of care that they put into the procedure, I was FULLY recovered in THREE DAYS and was able to return to work. It was by far the easiest wisdom tooth extraction that anyone in my family has had. Not only that, but the level of care they take when it comes to their bedside manners is insane. I canāt say enough good things about this wonderful office! They are very organized and kind. I had to have a crown done. Not my favorite thing to have done. I got to see the newest dentist to the practice. What an absolute wonderful dentist! She is Very gentle, fast and funny. She made me feel very comfortable. Hannah the dental assistant is fabulous! Very impressed how sweet and Knowledgeable she was. They are a great team together! Thank you for making my Experience more tolerable. I recommend if you need dental work done this is the place.
