Exeter Carpet

Had them install carpet in my whole house to sell my house. I had estimates from another few stores and when Mike came out to measure my house he was easy to work with and had great prices. Highly recommended

I tried Lowe's and Home Depot, and I'm so glad I went with Exeter Carpet Company. When I called Lowe's they had a deaf person handling the phones. I had to repeat my phone number 4 times in slow-motion. I finally hung up, in disgust. I thought I was being punked.

The Home Depot staff were great, but the person they hired to do the estimate wanted me to take out a whole drawer and shelf unit out of the closet, even though it never touched the ground!! Sure, it would take some work to put the rug underneath 15 feet of closet, but come on! They also refused to remove the carpet because

Made an appointment to get rooms measured for a new project. Let the owner know I was driving an hour just to meet him. Waited 30 minutes past the appointment time and called and left a message. He did not show, did not text, did not call, did not answer calls or return messages. Wasted 3 hours that day.

I had them install carpet in one of my apartments on a tight timeframe and a budget. They got it done in 3 days and under my budget. Will be using them again.

Had vinyl planking done in my kitchen and carpet done in 3 bedrooms and the living room in my house. Their prices beat 2 others stores and the install looks awesome. They were very polite and a pleasure to deal with. Good family run business to work with.

I had gone in the showroom made an appointment, they never showed up, Never called back after 2 phone calls.

We got a couple of quotes to replace the carpet on the house we had just bought. Mike was prompt on the consult, and gave us the best price out of all the others. We were able to book an appt the same week. They ran into some car issues so were unable to come the original date booked, but arrived the next day (a Saturday) and him and his dad went straight to work. They were very fast yet thorough. The carpet is great quality, very soft and nice color. We're very happy with the end result.

We hired Mike to fix what some Lowe's installers did wrong when we bought rugs from Lowes with "free installation". 18 months after the Lowe's team installed our rugs, they were a mess, with loose carpet everywhere, etc. I could have had the Lowes team come back, but to be honest I didn't want them even if it was free.

Mike came and looked at the issue, gave us a quote (that I thought was low to be honest), and 24 hours later he came with Mike Sr. (his dad, who started the business decades ago in Exeter) and they fixed everything in a few hours. The final product was
