JLK is the architect for the programming and space planning, design, and construction for 400,000 square feet of office space for 28 City of Chicago departments. JLK has a design philosophy based on our years of experience responding to clients' needs. We have designed everything from new additions, to restoration plans, to adaptive reuse projects, to interior office build outs. No matter the program, we are given, we strive to achieve an innovative solution that satisfies the client's needs and respects their budget constraints.
We are experts in historic building rehabilitation and restoration, but JLK also has a diverse portfolio of new construction and modern retrofit projects as well. Principals Meg Kindelin and Terry Sullivan have more than 40 years of combined experience on a wide range of projects for a variety of different client types and sizes.
JLK is always interested in hearing from qualified Project Managers and Project Architects to add to our team. In particular, we're looking for a Senior level Technical Architect and a Project Manager/Project Architect with 7+ years of experience.
