The Blackfoot Animal Clinic began business in 1959 and has continued to be one of the premier veterinary practices of Idaho. We have enjoyed professional recognition far reaching enough to have taken contracts in California, but Idaho is where and what we prefer. Over the years there has been a succession of distinguished veterinarians who have served the community from the Blackfoot Animal Clinic.

I drove from Pocatello to Blackfoot so my service dog MONSTER could have a Dental procedure done on September 8,2021..Tony Parson is the amazing veterinarian that helped me..This place doesn't push you into having extra things done...All the people that work at the front desk are amazing..THEY GIVE YOU HONEST RECOMMENDS..it's YOUR choice what YOU want..He had 13 teeth removed.

The vets at this small-town animal clinic always treat us and our pets like we're awesome neighbors. They never act like we're paranoid pet parents, or that we don't care for our pets enough if we're tight on funds. This sweet boy has been treated 2x in 4 months, and no matter how much he tries to hide in my purse, or in the corner, they're always so sweet. They call him "Handsome" and"Buddy" and rub his ears or chin to keep him calm during his exam.
Dr Parsons has also handled the euthenasia of 3 of our cats and he's so kind and caring about the process. The clinic even sends out a sympathy card

They take care of your pets here. My husband and I haven't had to worry about the treatment of our animals because they do a good job. I would caution to save receipts and bank statements, because we have had continuous problems with them saying we haven't paid when we have. The prices are good but the rooms are small, so one pet at a time is probably best. Pictures are our healthy pets thanks to here, but the money issue has been quite a headache.
