I had gotten to this weight through a sedentary lifestyle and bad eating habits. I was frustrated, embarrassed and scared that if something did not change I was headed to type 2 diabetes and watching my grandkids grow from the couch versus being an activate participant in their lives. That first day at Jumpstart was so hard and I was full of fear that I could not do it - but I did!

Sessions focused on goal setting, meal planning and exercise strategies for when you return home. Destination Jumpstart has limited space, therefore we require a strong commitment from you.
Exercise Wear (I usually layer with a short sleeve shirt and light exercise jacket, just make sure you are comfortable) I recommend you bring extra socks as you may want to change these during the day! Because you are beginning a new exercise program, we require you to see your family doctor and have an updated physical.
