Our technicians keep their work trucks stocked with a variety of spring sizes, ensuring a fast repair job. No waiting on parts! We recommend and install belt, chain and screw drive (jack-shaft) door openers by LiftMaster and Marantec. Installation and replacement of garage doors using the best quality materials from name brands you can trust.
We'll lubricate all moving parts of both the garage door and the door opener, tighten up all the hardware, and balance the door. Jason responded to my call within an hour. Arrived on time. As he worked on the door, he found additional items that needed to be addressed. I would highly recommend West Coast Garage! Jason initially came out to service our garage and was upfront with the fact that this was the original motor and we would need another one soon. Because we had just purchased the home and incurred other unexpected expenses, Jason did not pressure us and professionally helped us get the most of what we had (and we did!). West Coast Garage Door is 5 stars all the way. I needed a new torsion spring on my garage door, Jason & his son came out right away. They were quick and efficient. They lubed and tuned up my garage door to like-new working condition reducing the noise drastically. Their price was really reasonable, cheaper than another shop I had called by 20%. UPDATE: JASON HAS A DOG! AND IM IN LOVE! I called Jason back in September 2019 for a wiring issue that came undone and he was over literally within minutes after finding him on Angie's List.
Now earlier this July, my garage decided to mess with me and break the spring. Jason came over within half-hour and HE BROUGHT HIS DOG! I mean I love dogs and I'm cool with Jason from meeting him the first time. I brought his pup inside and let him play with my pup inside while Jason and I talked while he was fixing the garage. He was able to squeeze into a single car garage slot where my car was

I need to add another 5 star review for an absolutely wonderful service professional and a really great person. This is out 3rd experience with Jason. Each problem occurred on a weekend, late in the afternoon, and he was at our home within an hour all 3 times. We had wooden garage doors that were over 25 years old and were falling apart. Jason came out quickly to give us an estimate as well as options. Loved that he wasn't pushy, was very knowledgeable, reliable and friendly. He and his son did a great job with install and they were able to get what we needed quickly and set us up with a new system we are really happy with. My parents, who are older in age, called for a service issue on their garage door (it needed to be reprogrammed). Jason charged them $120.00 for a service call, said it could not be fixed, and tried to upsell them on an entire new unit. Before my parents spent money they didn't have, my husband (who knows absolutely nothing about garage doors) came over and fixed the issue in about 5 minutes just by reading the service manual online. Just had a great experience with Jason! Earlier today, I went out to do errands and garage door went out. I called 3 companies until I spoke with jason directly and he said he could be here in 20 mins - he showed up, assessed the problem, explained her would be finishing another customer in O'side then would pick up the new door opener and finish my job by the end of the day. He did exactly what he said with a pleasant personality and confidence.

Extremely happy with Jason. After being overcharged by Heritage with $500 estimate for new motor, Jason tried valiantly to repair the current 26 yr old motor. Didn’t work but he was able to install a used motor for a total of $300 which works beautifully. Worked over 3 hours. Very interesting and entertaining gentleman.

Just got done with a garage spring that broke in my garage. Couldn't open the door and it was 5 pm on a Sunday night. Checked a few vendors because I needed a fix that night... West Coast to the rescue! The owner/operator Jason was able to come to the house, with all of the right materials, with a 10 year warranty inside of an hour! This place was recommended to us by several local people that have used them. We called and he was here in 25 min. Fixed out garage door, and was reasonably priced. We can't close the garage door in the last 2 days after my wife picked up my kids from school in the afternoon.
I have asked him to swapping 2 sensors from left to right, and right to left to see it would help to solve the issue or not due to strong sunlight in the afternoon hitting the LHS sensor.
Finally he came by today on the 3rd one, and swapped the sensors. I wished he could come over on the 1st or @ least the 2nd day, but not until the third day with my multiple phone calls and voice messages.
As discussed, I would give him a feedback today to see the garage can be closed

THANK YOU WCGD for coming over at 9:30pm to fix my garage door (stupid thing wouldn't close!). I called three after hours garage door companies and Jason was the only one that didn't make me feel like he was going to up sell or gauge me for my unfortunate emergency. His prices are more than reasonable especially for after hours calls. He fixed the issue within 20 minutes and all was well! Well worth the money.. We called WCGD late in the evening of October 24th and Jason answered the call; gave us an estimate to replace a broken torsion spring and the cables had slipped off the rollers. Told us that there are unscrupulous companies that will install springs made in China [charging $450] that are far inferior to the springs he purchases from a California dealer. The price difference is about $100, but the "made in USA" springs last 10 to 15 years; my "made in China" spring lasted just 5 years.

I just called Jason out today. He picked up on the third ring, I explained how I wanted to take a bat to my Marantec unit, and he said he would be right out in 15 mins.
Jason is a funny guy. He had me laughing the whole time, and I learned a few things, as he went ahead and reprogrammed my garage door and lubed up the joints of the door, etc... had that thing rolling as smooth as butter in about 10 mins! I was quite relieved...
I was also relieved when he told me what the total was for my services: less than $60! Whew! I know some companies who charge that just to make the house call!
