The Board consists of seven members, appointed by the Governor, five of whom hold current certified public accountant licenses and practice in public accounting, one who is a licensed certified public accountant practicing in industry, and one who is a public member not engaged in the practice of accounting.
Have previously taken the examination as a candidate of another state but who have not earned credit. Have previously taken the examination as a candidate of another state and wish to transfer credit to Nevada. Once your eligibility to take the exam is determined, the Nevada State Board will send an Authorization To Test (ATT) to the National Candidate Database (NCD) at NASBA.
You can now submit your CPA Initial Exam and Re-Exam Forms online using your credit card. The board accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. You will need to provide the account number, expiration date, name as it appears on the card, billing address, and the CVV security code.

College transcripts must be ordered by the candidate to be sent to the Nevada State Board of Accountancy directly from the institutions. Approval will not be granted until all transcripts have been received. An applicant for CPA Certification must have a Bachelors Degree that includes 150 hours (credits) of education.
The AICPA has provided a list of suggestions that will assist exam candidates in familiarizing themselves with the CBT in order to enhance their testing experience. The Uniform CPA Examination consists of multiple-choice questions and condensed case studies called simulations. Within the simulations, candidates must do an online search of professional literature databases to answer questions.
