I came of age during the Civil Rights movement and the anti-war movement. I went to law school after working toward a doctorate in psychology because I believed there were great injustices in the world and lawyers were the people trying to right them.
I started the practice of law in the NJ Office of the Public Defender where I expected to defend the Constitution, and learned that the day to day practice of criminal defense law was much more mundane. After a few years I turned to private practice where my focus was largely on family issues. I started with a divorce practice that moved into estate planning and planning for the elderly and disabled.

I have been involved in the buying and selling of residential real estate for over 30 years. I have also used a number of real estate attorneys during that period of time. Andy Krantz with Zager Fuchs is one of the best, knowledgeable and responsive, a true pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him and the firm.

Andrew Kranz, Esq. failed to notify me of my ex-wife's closing date in a manner as implied in a recent divorce decree which he had in his possession.
He failed to notify me of a problem with the deed found by the Title Company.
He failed to send a list his approximate charges; and then requested a POA (power of attorney) for the closing which stated "receive all monies...including, but not limited to....and to make and authorize any and all disbursements from the proceeds of sale, including, but not limited to....other adjustments or disbursements". When challenged on this
