Ormson Hearing Clinic was founded on two simple truths - hearing is a vital sense that plays a significant role in quality of life, and hearing loss affects everyone uniquely. Our doctors of Audiology use the industry's most advanced diagnosis and treatment methods to provide a personalized experience throughout the entire patient journey.

Millions of Americans live with the daily complications of hearing loss. If left untreated, these complications can have negative impacts on a person's relationships, employment, and overall quality of life. Our audiologists strive to provide an experience that allows for open dialogue regarding your hearing loss, how it affects you and your family, and what treatment plan is best for all who are affected.
Services
Ormson Hearing Clinic has been providing comprehensive hearing care and amplification services to the Amarillo community since 1978. Our professional staff focuses on your individual satisfaction to improve the quality of your life through better hearing.

We carry a full selection of hearing aids and assistive devices, including new, cosmetically appealing styles and digital models with advanced features, in order to meet your specific hearing needs.Along with our focus on customer service and our established medical referral program, we will ensure that you receive the highest level of hearing care.
Dr. Maegan Laughlin is a Panhandle native from Sunray, Texas. She graduated from Texas Tech University in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in speech-language and hearing sciences. She attended graduate school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, where she received her Doctor of Audiology in 2013.
We are dedicated to improving the lives of the hearing impaired, one patient at a time. Everything we do is to help people with hearing loss enjoy the sounds, voices, people and conversations in their lives. We take great pride in helping people get back the gift of hearing-there is nothing more gratifying.
Have you ever wondered what exactly an audiologist does, besides look inside your ears with a lighted instrument? If you have been diagnosed with hearing loss, you'll want to learn as much as you can about this professional who will be intimately involved in helping you come up with a solution that allows you to communicate more effectively.
An audiologist uses a hearing test to measure your type, degree and configuration of hearing loss. An audiology evaluation consists of a series of one or more of these tests. Your audiologist will use your test results to create a treatment plan for your unique hearing loss. An audiology (or hearing) evaluation can benefit patients of all ages, even those who do not show signs of hearing loss.

Dr. Kristian Ormson is by far the only Audiologist I have ever had that cares and is genuine about his passion for my success in hearing. I drive hours just for him because out of ALL of the Doctors I have had for my ears, he is the one I would go across the country for to make sure he is the one taking care of my Cochlear Implants. As a deaf person, my audiologist is the second most important person in my life besides my wife. He is truly a Super Hero to me and my Wife and we could not have had a better human on earth to walk with us through getting implants and remapping.

Dr. Kerry Ormson is an excellent audiologist. I put off getting hearing aids way too long. When I finally decided to make the leap it was a decision that I did not regret. I absolutely love my new hearing aids I purchased from Dr. Ormson. He set them up for my hearing and will continue to service and maintain them!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Ormson since I was first diagnosed deaf. I’ve seen him through every earmold replacement, hearing aid repair, hearing test, tube replacement, and so on. He’s trustworthy, highly skilled, and his sons have followed in his footsteps. Their office is well-run and the front desk ladies have been there for years. They know everything about the office and the patients. I really can’t say enough good things about the Ormson’s.

My Fad was visiting from out of town and his hearing aid went out. When I called they were very friendly and said just come in. Dad went in ad they put his hearing-aid in the cleaning machine and returned it to him. He could hear again! No charge at all.
