Tamara has lived in Chewelah nearly all her life, moving here when she was four years old when her dad retired from 20 years of service with the U.S. Navy. Her parents moved back to the area to be near family, which allowed her to grow up in Chewelah's wonderful, tight-knit community.

This is a local sub agent DOL renew your license tabs. If you live anywhere in eastern WA you should try to support your local office. The state charges $8.00 fee to renew your tabs. If you renew at your county auditor office or online, that fee goes to fund the ferry system in this state (check your renewal notice if you think this not true). Most who live in eastern Washington rarely use the ferries. If you renew at a local sub agent office they get to keep the fee, thus supporting a local merchant rather than a ferry you may never use. In these trying times our local merchants need all the help
