Had two valves fixed and a sink drain repaired. The sink now has a chip in it. The home is vacant and the plumber was the only one in the bathroom. But Lucas is not accepting responsibility for it. Lesson learned. I will not be a returning customer. And like others have reviewed, the price was high.

If you see those trucks on a road, turn around and go opposite directions. Those people don’t know how to drive. Almost got hit at Buck rd/Holland rd by truck #34! Had to jump on a curb to avoid Colision. Driver don’t even stopped to see if they hit me. Awful driver!!! If the don’t respect other peoples, how can they provide top notch services?

Used Lucas for a plumbing emergency. Clogged toilet in my powder room, that couldn't be resolved with a plunger. They were at my house within 15 minutes which was amazing as every other plumber I called couldn't come for at least 24 hours. The only complaint was the price. $700 for one hour's work to unclog a toilet seems expensive.

I had a leak and called Lucas Ltd to fix. It was a pipe leaking, and they were able to fix the problem within one and half hour, and the bill was $495. It was just too expensive. Then I called them and question the price, and the guy was rude and not professional. I like to support local business, but I will NEVER use them again. It was a rip off for sure!

I called Lukas LTD for a problem we were having with our Well . It was one of those jobs , a few other companies I called avoided because they don’t service wells or just basically don’t know how to do the job . We had been sporadically having our water turn off because air was somehow getting into our water pipes . I've been a customer of Lucas LTD for 7 years. Over those 7 years they've serviced two of my homes in Newtown. Let me first say the quality has been excellent, and the techs have always been professional and helpful. I've never had a problem with any job they've done.
However, as of recently their prices seem to have skyrocketed. At the old house about 5 years ago it cost about $150 to have a faulty hose-bib removed and a new replacement installed. I had an excellent experience with Lucas today. Greg was on time and fixed a leak in our sink, replaced the garbage disposal, along with repair to existing pipe in the basement where the leak was dripping water on my basement ceiling. The work is of a very high quality. While it seemed a little on the pricey side (though not overly pricey), I prefer to pay for quality. If you want trusted, high quality plumbing work, Lucas should be on your list to call.

Called Lucas and they are prompt and timely to repair a leaking propane gas line in the house. Gas line was accessible and they started the analysis by pumping 15 psi air and pointed out one location that was leaking. instead of removing and re-tightening the pipe, they installed their own company shutoff value which was unnecessary as the leak was on the thread not on the shutoff valve. I had outside work, therefore I have to run out, after 4 hours, they did not come up with any other leak and did not certify the leak was fixed. The bill was $750 and since I have not asked about the total amount

Without question the most reliable, knowledgeable, and professional plumbers in Bucks County. Their team members are skilled, thorough, and very neat. I've used them for 20 years and their quality is enduring.

Fantastic organization run by people with the highest integrity! We have used Lucas for years and they are fair, honest, and knowledgeable. We just had them out to help us with a hot water issue. They explained the situation and fixed the problem in no time at all. I would recommend Lucas to anyone who asks.

Unprofessional company. Contacted Lucas to come out and fix our toilet, they told us they could squeeze us in the next day. I said I was unsure, but to book us anyway and we would call them back if we did not need them. The woman on the phone assured us we had that time slot and said we would see them the next day. After they never showed up, we called them and asked them what the issue was. They said that we told them we were fixing the problem ourselves. We never told the woman on the phone that, and you would think they would be more understanding and offer up a remedy to make up for the miscommunication

I called Lucas on Sunday 25, 2017 because I had low water pressure and I thought no hot water. Steve was in my home for an hour and a half to find out what the problem was. It was found that I had a well problem and I subsequently called my well company to fix the problem. Steve had to rewrap my hot water heater with insulation, but did no repairs other than that. He charged me $390.00 for the above service. I checked the charge with a friend in the business and was told that I paid TWICE the amount which should have been charged. I was given a yellow carbon copy of the bill which was illegible

The Good: If you are in real need to have your plumbing issue fixed promptly this company has a large fleet of trucks and they are pretty quick and reliable.

TheBad: If you are looking for things like updating your bathroom or getting toilets or faucets installed I would schedule the work with another plumbing company.
They are at very expensive with their job pricing and on top of that will nickel and dime the heck out of you. They also make your job seem really hard to do so that when you get the bill it's not that bad. Trust me it is! I had them at my home for about an hour to move

We recently called Lucas to fix a leak in our fridge water line. Never thought I'd have to call them 2 days later for emergency service. But yeah, our water heater decided to implode at 5 pm today, leaving us without hot water. With kids to wash, dishes to do and laundry to run, this was not good news.

Two hours later Lucas was in there removing the old unit and installing the new one. By 930 pm we were all set. They literally left the competition in the dust. Companies that I called at 5pm still hadn't returned my calls just as Lucas was wrapping up.

Perhaps that wise person had plumbers in mind when he wrote this. Perhaps, not. But, even with waiting a long time past the original window promised by the scheduler, ultimately, it was the quality of the work that counted most in the service industry. Lucas had arranged with me to have someone at the house to fix a broken toilet between 8 and 10. There was no way to know in advance that a one hour job would become a four hour slog. They were courteous enough to call me twice to alert me to the circumstances, and offer to reschedule for next week

Lucus LTD was recommended to me from a friend and I had them come out to replace a kitchen faucet and drain and I couldn't have been happier. The guy who came out was very courteous and professional. I know someone mentioned they were expensive but I have had 3 other plumbers come out for quotes and Lucus LTD was about $20-$30/hr less then the others so I would say their rate is reasonable. I think I found my new plumber!

I live just down the road from Lucas in Newtown, so I've use them a number of times. Simple jobs, and their work has been fine. Courteous efficient office staff and prompt work..
More recently, I had a devil of a problem. A cake of soap really gummed up my old toilet. I probably worsened the situation with a plunger before calling Lucas. The soap could only be removed in sticky segments. The initial service got the toilet up and running, but I had to ask for for additional work two weeks later when it began acting up again.
