I am Chadwick Braithwaite, a master photographer based in Salt Lake City, Utah. My mission is to help you capture the special moments of your life. Be that family, professional, commercial or, my personal favorite, wedding and elopement photos, I will be your partner throughout the process to ensure your photographs represent you.

What makes a good photographer a good photographer? Some say it's innate, a gift bestowed from the Gods of Right Brainopolis, some say it's learned, a culmination of courses, left-brain logic, and analytical prowess, and me? I say it's about a person's ability to enhance their creative gifts with learned expertise to capture all the right moments in all the right ways.
I have been doing wedding photography for 15 years and I get asked all of the time - What is your favorite wedding you've ever shot? It's impossible to pick, because each wedding I've shot is so different. I truly believe that all weddings are unique. Each couples story is unique and special. I want to hear your story!
AKA, we care about your experience and your engagement photography. No, really. Like. a lot - a lot. The emotion tied up in a side-swept glance, the visceral joy behind your smile - we don't produce flat photos that document a day, it's about your emotional journey and we're right there with you. Your wedding photography is important to us.
Formal portraits are individual portraits of the couple either on the wedding day or before. We know that calling them formal portraits makes them sound stuffy and boring. Don't worry they are not. The answer to this is simple - ANYTIME YOU WANT! After shooting over 300 weddings, we have seen it done several different ways.
These days eloping isn't just running away to Las Vegas, or signing a paper at the courthouse. An elopement these days is a couple's way of making a wedding unique and intimate. Elopements nowadays can include getting married on a beach, on top of a mountain, saying your vows in a desert in Moab.
Eloping can be just the two of you saying your vows to each other in an intimate setting of your choice, or a small wedding with just friends and family.The important part is you and your fianc spending the day together celebrating your love. The definition of a wedding: a marriage ceremony, especially considered as including the associated celebrations.

Chad and Stephanie are AMAZING! Professional and yet engaging, they took into consideration all of our needs for our big day. They not only took amazing care of us with their gorgeous photography but they took the time to really engage with our guests and make everyone feel so comfortable. I hired Chad to associate shoot a wedding for me in Moab that I couldn't make this last year because of Covid(I'm based on the west coast and traveling wasn't an option). Needless to say he knocked it out of the park and my clients absolutely adored him. I was extremely happy to hear about their experience with him and having known him professionally for a little while was not surprised. The images and video he took knocked it out of the park.

When I first hired Chad I thought I hit the jackpot, I felt so lucky I found him. He was nice, and responsive at first when it came to emailing me and wanting to meet up. Later on, after we paid the deposit that was not the case.
02/12/2020, I emailed him letting him know my venue " Noah’s" abruptly shut down, it was all over national news and at this point we were considering an elopement since our original plans obviously weren't going to play out.
He got back to me and asked when

Chad is amazing at what he does!!! Truly amazing!! I'm beyond happy with my photos and if I have another session in which he specializes in I definately will be going back and recommending everyone!! Chad is the best; incredibly genuine and truly cares about your big day. He has a great sense of humor and made the whole experience more comfortable. Chad has an eye for photography that I have never seen; he see's things others don't. If you are looking to have some of the greatest memories caught on camera, I 110% recommend Chad and his associates.

Chad was so great to work with and made both of us feel so comfortable during our engagements (also dealt with our dog)
During the wedding I didn't even notice he was there, he blended in very well. Our photos have turned out amazing and I cannot wait to get some printed for our house!

Great wedding photographer. Handled my huge family with ease! Made the photos stress-free (which is a huge help on a wedding day!) Got some amazing shots of us, the family, the reception and more and did it all without needing everyone to pose for too long. Quick, skilled, very nice and professional. Fantastic work; highly recommended.

I am so happy that I had chad take my wedding pictures! He was by far the best choice. He was fun to work with and everybody loved him. My husband hates taking pictures but Chad made us look amazing! These are pictures that I will look at for the rest of my life and I couldn't be more pleased with how they turned out. His prices are competitive and worth every penny. I came to him with ideas of how I wanted my pictures to turn out and he made them better than I could have imagined. Thank you, thank you, faces photography for the great experience!
