Printing at 42 Main St. goes back to the early 1900s, when the owners John Smith and Harry Poley moved their business from 74 Main St. to 42 Main St. in Berlin. The business was known as The Franklin Printery. The Franklin Printery prided itself on being able to turn out at the shortest notice the product of its skill from the smallest card to the large posters and using the highest grade of stock to the greatest value for the least money.

Smith & Town Printers, LLC has many printing presses to choose from depending on your project. We offer high quality printing from single color to unlimited colors, and paper sizes of 20" x 29" and smaller. Digital printing can be the answer when timing is critical. When digitally printed, there is no need to wait overnight for drying time.

At Smith & Town Printers, LLC we have several folders to handle your project up to 23" x 35". We offer saddle-stitching, GBC binding in either (metal or plastic) perfect binding, case binding and side-stitching. We can also perform various finishing operations to your job such as perforating, sequential numbering, tabbing (1, 2 or 3 tabs), trimming, drilling, plastic shrink wrapping, glueing and laminating up to 27 wide.
