Dr. Solis is a graduate of U.S.A.C. School of Dentistry, Guatemala City. He has been a dentist for years and has been through several post graduate courses in different fields of dentistry since receiving his D.D.S. degree. Dr. Solis has a wide range of experience in different areas of dentistry, from cosmetic and restorative dentistry to surgical treatments and root canal treatments.
Our office is conveniently located on 29491 The Old Road at the Castaic Creek Plaza, and is accessible via all major roads. We are proud of our office, which fully utilizes state of the art equipment. We have a modern sterilization system that surpasses OSHA requirements.

Every tooth consists of three different layers. The outermost and hardest layer is enamel, and the second layer is dentin. The third is pulp, which is the cavernous space where the live tissue and nerve of each tooth is located. If for any reason the pulp space is exposed to the outside, the tissue becomes contaminated and eventually infected.
Teeth stains are inevitable due to our consumption of a variety of foods and drinks (soda, spicy food, coffee, etc.). However, advanced teeth whitening technology has enabled dentists to whiten teeth without adversely affecting the tooth structure. Almost all whitening methods are similar in concept, but some are much more effective because of the way the whitening material is delivered to the teeth.
When people hear the word "braces" the first image that comes to mind is metal wire and brackets on the teeth. Not only do these traditional braces cause gum irritation, but let's face it, they are not very attractive! Fortunately, orthodontic technology has come a long way in the last few years. Patients can now use Clear Aligners to straighten their teeth.

Dr. Solis and the staff at Paradise smile are amazing and kind. They took the time to make my difficult dental situation (which seemed like the end of the world to me) and turn it into a great experience that made me want to go down the long path of my treatment plan comfortably. Rhonda who is the friendly face at the reception area will take care of all scheduling with ease. I have moved to a few different states since my last treatments with Dr. Solis, somehow him and the staff at Paradise Smile continually remind me of what great service is about.

Excellent dentist, Dr Erick Solis. I found him by chance . Went in with a broken front tooth, he took me in immediately and since then he has been my and my husband regular dentist. He is patient, explains throughly and informs you of what must be done as well as suggest options for future work. I am very sensitive to pain and extremely nervous but that is in the past.

This is the best dentist in town by far! Dr. Solis and the staff at Paradise Smile were extremely talented in helping me with my dental needs, and addressing all of my qustions and concerns. He was able to take care of a tooth that my previous dentist couldn't get right. Dr. Solis was there for me from the beginning to the end, micromanaging every process from extracting my tooth, fitting me with a new bridge, and evaluating the condition of all my other teeth. Dr. Solis has been my mother's dentist for a number of years. He and his staff are like family to her. His gentle and excellent skill as a dentist has made it possible for her to maintain her smile even after a severe stroke . Mom had a life long aversion to regular dental care until she met Dr Solis and his manager Rhonda and staff. My sisters and i could not believe she actually looked forward to going to the dentist. Dr. Solis is amazing, very profesional and always trying to do the best for his patients. We've been with him for 12 years and have never had a bad experience. On the contrary, every visit has gone smooth and right on time.

I won't go to any other dentist. Dr Solice is talented, gentle, and I am 100 percent confident in his skills as my dentist. The office is beyond clean and everyone that works there is professionl, nice and they can't do enough to help you. The lady that cleaned my teeth was very educational, which was very much appreciated. Call Rhonda and make an appointment. He is also doing lazer for sleep apnea. He has an easy going personality and I would think he would also be a great dentist for kids.

I moved to Castaic from Riverside and needed a dentist. I stopped by Paradise Smile to make an appointment since it was on my way home. Rhonda (reception) was out that day, and Dr. Solis actually came out and greeted me. Right away he was interested in what my issues were and what I wanted treated first. I expressed my desire for a teeth cleaning and fear that I had a cavity. Instead of just making an appointment, he actually took me in and sat me in a chair right then to take a look! What??

By far this is the best dentist that we've ever been to. The entire staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They take time to explain everything! I got reminder texts of my appointment, they showed me pictures of my teeth while they explained everything, so that I could see exactly what they were talking about. The hygienist, Elisa was thorough and gentle. I never felt like I trusted a dentist or his staff like I did at Paradise Smile. My fiancé went in a week before for an emergency

Excellent people especially ellisa. I haven't been to the dentist in 8 years. She is an amazing sensitive hygienist and made me so comfortable. Dr. Erick was also great and spent an hour along with elissa over an hour. 2+ hours including free xrays. I don't have insurance and paid $97. Thank you paradise smile.

Speaking as a therapist, let me say that this dental team specializes in fearful people and I have never felt so calm in a dentist's chair. I had the misfortune of needing extensive dental work and I have never been so grateful to find such a well put together team as this one. Offering patients headsets with their favorite Pandora stations at their finger tips helps greatly.

My 21 year old daughter needed to have three of her wisdom teeth extracted and was referred to Dr. Erick Solis. I usually have great anxiety about going to the dentist. My kids have less fear about dental visits. But I just had my 2nd appt (crown replacement and fillings) and this visit was not a problem. Although I miss Dr. Boris Shnayder-the original owner of Paradise Smile, Dr. Erick Solis is WONDERFUL. I didn't want to return when Dr. Shnyder left but Rhonda, their Office Manager, coaxed me back after being AWOL for nearly two years. I shouldn't have gone into hiding. This has been my best dental experience in quite a while. Dr Solis was very personable and warm. When I arrived I was offered a headset and Pandora radio to make my experience less stressful.
The office manager is excellent. She keeps up with my insurance benefits so that I never get stuck with a surprise bill.
