Finding a new stylist can be really tough, at Style Lounge we want to make sure to partner you with a stylist that will fit your needs. A great consultation is the key! We want to make sure we have everything just right and have scheduled the correct amount of time. We will do everything we can to make the scheduling easy and comfortable!
Rick Shane has been in the hair and fashion industry almost 30 years and a salon owner for the past 20 years. Certified in Maryland, Washington DC and New York. Specializing in all phases of precision and free form cutting as well as being regarded as a top colorist and educator. Kevin has been a top stylist/colorist throughout the Annapolis/Baltimore area for more than 15 years.
We value the quality of your visit. Please be sure to allow plenty of time for travel when scheduling appointments and ideally arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment (first time guests 15 minutes). Unfortunately late arrivals will need to be rescheduled. It is our POLICY to not alter the guest's appointments that follow yours.
At Style Lounge, we designed a place where artist professionals would love to bring their guests. We know you're going to love the atmosphere and overall sense of community. Our brand new location is unmatched with amazing parking and access to all major shopping/restaurants in Annapolis. We offer an excellent commission package with full Shampoo Technician assistance.

I've been enjoying going to Style Lounge! I've been seeing my stylist Jessica Angell Rodriguez for over 10 years and she's amazing. She's done different techniques on me over the years, helped correct my color from using box dye (many years ago - I haven't done that again!), and always makes my hair look great, which is challenging because it's thin and fine. My whole family goes to Jessica now and are all very happy. My husband is very picky - she's only his 2nd hair person in his life - and she did a modern, updated style on him years ago and keeps him looking

Not only is this salon very clean and professional looking, the prices are actually affordable for the area. I will say that Jessica is hands down the best stylist ever! I’ve known her for years and she always does a fantastic job. I explained what I was looking for and she was very attentive and actually listened to what I wanted and didn’t try to change my mind. If you’re going to book with Style Lounge, please ask for Jessica!

These salon workers make you pay so much for just some hair coloring and styling . So they say that it going to be at least 150 but its actually 215 dollars. That's way too much. Ask the price first otherwise at the end they will rip you off So if you are reading this just saying you might not want to spend your money here. But the customer service is pretty great.

FANTASTIC SALON! Style Lounge is amazing. All of the staff are courteous and professional, and the environment is spacious and welcoming and very clean. Rick Shane is the best colorist ever...and I've been to a lot of salons. In fact, I drive from St. Mary's County (an hour and half away) just to get my hair done here, and to enjoy a day in Annapolis, which is always fun! I cannot recommend this salon more highly! Erica

I hold every other salon I visit on my travels up to Style Lounge, and only one other salon I visited in La Jolla, CA even came close. I love the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. They all know my name, and couldn't be more friendly and accommodating. The boutique is a great touch, and all of the beautiful and stylish things available for sale make your customers feel special. Every one of the stylists makes every client who sits in his or her chair feel like a cherished friend. Thanks for all of the hairapy!

Style Lounge is the top salon in greater Annapolis and Ann Arundel County Maryland! I've been getting color, hi/lo lights, cuts and Coppola's keratin straightening. Rick Shane (owner/Stylist) is an outstanding artist! I have felt so comfortable with him since the first time he did my hair 5 yrs ago. They have all awesome stylists!! I've also had Katie and Naomi who are also awesome!!
Unfortunately I have relocated to Charleston SC, but I'm still coming back every 3 months. They are that great at beautiful hair!!

Could't be happier, will highly recommend to everyone! They took me at the last minute, I went in with a bad hair dye from another salon and they fixed it perfectly!! Chrissy worked with me to discover what I wanted and conferred with Rick the owner. Rick took the time to discuss my options with me also and then they worked together on the perfect dye. I can not be happier with the color. Meanwhile everyone there is really friendly other stylists stopped to chat, and I chatted with another customer that had long hair as well that they were carefully highlighting and she was immensely happy also

Choosing a salon is difficult! After a laborious journey; I have Finally found a home for my hair; Style Lounge! The experience was amazing! The stylist, Erik, showcased top level performance! Rick, the owner made me feel at home while inside the gorgeous and aesthetically pleasing salon! Upon first view of my hair in finished state I felt like a model, recharged with energy, and glowing with confidence! Wow! My hair was resplendent and gleaming after the highlights and professional cut cobimbed with the expert performance of Erik! Can’t wait to go back; they have demolished the competition!

Amazing Salon!! I was so anxious about getting my hair cut since I had a super long hair and fortunately I found this magical place. I absolutely loved how Heather did my complete makeover. The entire staff is so friendly especially Rick who understands what you are looking for. I would definitely recommend this salon.

This salon is the best for all hair services. Color expertise is 5 star! In my many years with hair coloring, I have never been so confident in my stylist. They are artists here. They do the color processes, keeping the health of your hair paramount. All of the stylists here are excellent. I have had services performed by others when my regular stylist and my schedule don’t match up...I always leave very happy!

I won a haircut at Style Lounge as part of a fund raiser for the Baltimore Station. I was very impressed with the shop. My stylist Rebecca was awesome. We had great conversation and she did a wonderful job on my hair. Oh, and the jewelry area offers some unique and fun options at very affordable prices. A bit of a drive for me but I will definitely go back.

I went in for a Deva Curl haircut. We discussed taking off an inch and cleaning up the layers. Quite a bit more was taken off than we had agreed upon and after the wash/style, the stylist didn't make any additional tweaks. My hair ended up shorter, yes, but also uneven and bulbous. The layers didn't really get any attention. I had to make another appointment at my old salon and hour away to fix the situation. The staff is friendly and the merch is well presented, but I won't be going back.

This is hidden gem next to the Towne Center in Annapolis. It is next to Jalapenos and easy to get in and out of.
It is a little shopping boutique as well as a very large hair stylist lounge. You can shop around while you're waiting for your color to set (not that I color my hair of course)! ;)
It's worth checking out if you want an upper-scale hair experience without the hassle of parking and reasonable price.

Perhaps Style Lounge is relying on people to make appointments online. That could explain why they do not answer their phones! My husband (who rarely uses internet) actually had to drive over there to make an appointment in person! Please understand that not just young people get haircuts! BTW, gets a consistently good haircut from John.

I recently was in search of a new salon and I landed by far the BEST salon. Rick, the owner of the salon greeted me and was very attentive to me and my needs for my hair. He was very attentive and placed me with an absolute phenomenal stylist, Kevin. The two of them transformed my hair back to beautiful and healthy. I have never been to a salon where every individual is so attentive and kind. This is my new home for my hair needs. Rick and Kevin have me my confidence back and I'm no longer ashamed of how my looks due to previous over processing. Thank you a million times!!!! This is my forever

Style Lounge is great! Particularly Katie my stylist is amazing- like seriously. I have curly hair and its hard to find someone who knows what they're doing with it. Katie is trained in the Deva cut and my hair always looks amazing coming out- I want her and Tracy to come do my hair every morning!
The best thing is that they're half the cost of other salons in the area - and do the job better. The salon is fun, vibrant, and laid back. I highly recommend!

I can't say enough how kind and wonderful all of the staff were! They were so understanding flexible about making my appointment work for me when I was late due to a last-minute client meeting on my end.
It was my first time but Eric had no problem making me feel like a long time customer by taking the time to listen to what I needed and taking care of everything!
