Most often portraits are being captured to celebrate a family coming together, a milestone event for a couple or individual or even an update on a family portrait every few years.

Team Work. is what it's all about. Putting together a great photo shoot is about much more than just lights, camera, action. We understand it takes coordination, communication, talented design, and styling before the shoot, and talent behind the camera, to make it all come together. After the shoot we aim for consistent and dependable delivery of client work.
We offer several portrait styles. You will recognize a variety of styles because we look for individuality for every client. Portrait clients trust us to capture a rare opportunity when family is together, a milestone event for a couple, a high school graduate, a business professional, and of course our beloved pets.
Faded or damaged photos can be brought back to better than new and saved for future generations. We can also professionally digitize your memories and cherished images or video to the latest digital formats. We perform all the work in-house, your hand digitized images will never be out of our studio or at risk of being lost or damaged in the mail.
There are important times to hire us as professional photographers, however, we also recognize we can't be there for all those important moments. Very often we are asked, how can I take better pictures of my kid's school play, soccer game, birthday party, on vacation, etc.? We decided the best approach was to help our clients understand their camera better and offer classes for amateur photographers at all levels.
Collections are portrait packages that were compiled together by the most common requested sizes. Collections include a studio session (which can be upgraded for outdoor sessions), wall portrait(s), and several gift sized prints. There is a moderate savings when portraits are ordered in collections.

I needed a new head shot for business purposes. The scheduling was convenient and accommodating, and I was seen on time. Mike was patient and guided the process in a skilled and professional way, allowing the photo shoot and review to be completed in surprisingly little time. I received the files the following day. The price was fair and competitive. Mike obviously takes pride in his work, is highly skilled at his craft and is truly focused on customer service. I highly recommend Potthast Studios!

Fantastic customer service and fantastic photographs! From my first phone call with Mike to the excellent photography session and then the fantastic final product, everything was professional and excellent. My son needed headshots for college auditions and we received excellent shots. We will be back for graduation pictures!
