Welcome to Greg Hughes Massage Therapy located Downtown Spokane, WA. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist in Washington State (Lic # MA00015749), and Nationally Certified (NCBTMB # 305837-0) since 2001. I am a Deep Tissue Massage and Sports Massage Specialist. I utilize a range of techniques to help your body find structural balance and move from dysfunction to function.
I have developed my approach to massage by studying with three of the best teachers in massage therapy today. Please explore their work to gain insight into what I do. Healing of tissue or imbalance in the body is ultimately done by the body. Massage Therapy opens a window of opportunity allowing the body a better chance of making needed repair and/or remodeling to muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia.

Sports massage is a form of bodywork geared toward participants in athletics. It is used to help prevent injuries, to prepare the body for athletic activity and maintain it in optimal condition, and to help athletes recover from workouts and injuries. Sports massage has three basic forms: pre-event massage, post-event massage, and maintenance massage.

One of the best treatments I have ever had in my life. As a fellow practitioner of massage I highly reccommend Greg, he is a wealth of knowledge, he has a very unique and original approach. He is very effective, he released pain in areas I didn't even know were bound up and provided a great self care plan for home.
Thank you Greg! I'll be back!

Visiting Spokane for a sporting competition and in the need of a little tune up, I went online, and saw Greg Hughes' website. It seemed like he really knew his stuff so I thought I'd give him a try. I was immediately struck by his easygoing demeanor, his knowledge and his intuitive nature. His place of business was an easy walk from my downtown hotel, and the professional staff greeted me warmly.
We initially had a brief consultation, and Greg listened to where my trouble spots were and got right to work. He used a variety of techniques, some I was familiar with and some I was not. It was a apparent

Greg Hughes was my massage therapist for many years when he lived in Rhode Island with his family. Greg provided a massage that was perfect for myself and my friends who also worked out every day at the gym that Greg was a massage therapist at. Greg provided a massage that was both highly therapeutic as well as relaxing. We all miss Greg very much in RI and have yet to find a massage therapist that can even come close to his level of expertise. Spokane is very lucky to have such a talented and knowledgeable massage therapist. Put very simply, he is the best !!!
