I had been using Myer & Myer to prepare my taxes for several years. This year as soon as I got all my documents together...1st week in February, I hired Scott to prepare my taxes...Scott had them done in less than a week. When my wife & I went sign in preparation for electronic filing, we found that we owed over $700. We protested that it had to be a mistake, but Scott insisted that the amount was correct.
When I got home I immediately checked my return & W2s & found Scott had left out the taxes paid on one of our 1099's, accounting for the tax liability.
