If you answered yes to any of these questions, call us today at (908) 543-4390 to speak to a Physical Therapist today. The physical therapists at Kid PT specialize in pediatric physical therapy. They work with your child as a whole, not as a diagnosis, and guide each family on their therapeutic journey.
They work with children throughout Somerset County and beyond to help each child reach towards their personal potential. Dr. Joni is a published author and her advice to parents of children with developmental challenges has been consumed all over the world by both parents and colleagues. She literally "wrote the book" on how parents can help their children reach their own personal potential.

Services
Children learn best by repeating things over and over again. Children with neuro-motor disorders need even MORE practice and repetition to learn skills. Children are often seen 1 or 2 times a week for physical therapy. Imagine the changes your child could make by focusing on a new skill every day for a few weeks!
At Kid PT, our specialized pediatric physical therapists work with children of all ages with developmental delays in Somerset County and beyond. We work with babies who need a boost to meet their milestones, toddlers who need help with balance and gross motor play and school age children who are trying to keep up with their friends.
Torticollis, which we describe as stubborn head tilts and turns, is a very common problem. At Kid PT, our therapists treat babies with torticollis and plagiocephaly (flat head syndrome) everyday. With our gentle approach, you will see QUICK changes in your child's ability to turn their head and keep it in the center, without you staying awake and turning their head all night long or doing uncomfortable stretches all day.
At Kid PT, our physical therapists work with children with neurological disorders to develop new abilities, build on their strengths and use innovative approaches to stimulate change. We work with children throughout Somerset County and beyond of all ages and diagnoses. We work with children with cerebral palsy, genetic disorders and brain injuries and help parents to open doors to change and progress.
Welcome to KidPT, where we strive to help every dancer waltzing through our doors to move with grace and ease! We look at each dancer we see as an individual with their own unique movement patterns and strengths. If your young dancer has a longstanding injury that you feel has been holding them back from reaching their true potential, we are here to help them along their journey toward injury-free success.

My daughter has been going to KidPT for almost 3 months now. Dr. Kat is patient and involved in helping improve my daughter’s in-toe/tippy toe issue. The staff is friendly and the environment is welcoming. I found KidPT via Google and decided to move forward with this establishment due to the reviews. Being able to experience how the business and staff operates first hand now gives this place even more of a high rating it deserves. My daughter looks forward to seeing Dr. Kat during her appointments.

I found Kid PT when I was concerned about my then 3 week old daughter’s preference to look over one shoulder. Sure enough, she was diagnosed with torticollis and we worked with Dr. Ali for quite some time to resolve it. My daughter is now 5 months old and you would never know she had severe torticollis—she is meeting milestones and no longer has a side preference. Dr. Ali was wonderful with my daughter during our sessions and helped me to feel confident when doing the exercises at home. Highly recommend Kid PT!

We had a great experience with Kid PT! My son started PT at 8 months old. After just his first session we saw a huge improvement! Throughout the time we worked with Joni, there were noticeable improvements after each session. We had to switch to telehealth due to COVID-19, which I was worried about, but the sessions were really helpful! I'm so glad to have worked with Joni - the sessions were fun and my son made a ton of progress!

Dr. Joni and Dr. Ali have been treating my little one for torticollis and I have been really happy with the progress. I appreciate that the therapists spend the time to practice the exercises with me each session so I can make sure I'm doing them properly. They also explain the goal of each movement so that I understand what to look for as we practice at home.

Dr. Joni has been working with my older son for more than 8 years now. She is an excellent and very knowledgeable physical therapist. I can’t thank her enough for guiding me and helping me make all the tough medical decisions for my son. She works for the overall development of her patients. Can’t imagine what would have I done without her. Absolutely recommend her.
