Vortech Pharmaceuticals was founded in 1982 by John and Viberta MacNeil, in Dearborn, Michigan. Vortech is the developer and manufacturer of Fatal-Plus Powder and Fatal-Plus Solution, both products are used for humane animal euthanasia.
Prior to the development and wide spread use of Fatal-Plus, many veterinary euthanasia methods and pharmaceutical products on the market had side effects that were hard on the animal, and difficult for those involved in the euthanasia process to witness.The catalyst for creating Fatal-Plus came when John's own dog was nearing the end of his life and the difficult decision to euthanize the family's beloved pet was imminent.

Fatal-Plus Solution and Powder is a Schedule II (C-II) drug, and therefore must be ordered on your DEA 222 Form. We cannot accept any 222 order forms which have been altered in any manner. Clearly print all required information WITHIN the appropriate boxes and lines on the 222 Form. Please make sure only the 'Signature of Purchaser or Attorney or Agent' signs the 222 order form.

Additionally, Fatal-Plus comes in a plastic bottle which won't break if accidentally dropped. It also won't freeze during the winter if you're working outdoors on large animals. Fatal-Plus is a Schedule II (C-II) drug and must be ordered on the D.E.A. 222 order form, also known as the U.S. Official Order Forms - Schedules I & II.
