The Mortgage Bankers Association of Louisville is a local chapter of the Mortgage Bankers Association, the national association representing the real estate finance industry. We are comprised of bankers, brokers, loan officers and processors involved in the business of mortgage banking in the Louisville area. Additionally, the local chapter provides opportunities for certified continuing education at both regular luncheon meetings and training conferences and workshops.
The national association, headquartered in Washington, D.C., works to ensure the continued strength of the nation's residential and commercial real estate markets; to expand homeownership prospects through increased affordability; and to extend access to affordable housing to all Americans.

Services
Develops educational information to be passed along to our members as well as additional educational offerings and continues to pursue avenues where we create value for all people employed in our industry. Provides speakers for the monthly luncheon meetings and works with the Education Committee. Plans events that benefit our local community and those that raise funds for our association.
Membership is open to those engaged in mortgage lending and have an office in Kentucky or the following counties in Southern Indiana: Clark, Floyd, Harrison or Jefferson. The organization offers both individual and company memberships. Individual Associate Member $125 annually with no voting rights (plus a one-time $50 initiation fee).
There is an old saying "history never looks like history when you are living through it". During good times or challenging times, periods of great development or times of economic uncertainty, the one constant that the Louisville area real estate communities have come to rely on has been the Mortgage Bankers Association of Louisville.
Raffle tickets are $35 for 1 Arm's length and $50 for 2 can be purchased at the door for the Silent Auction Baskets. There will be a "live auction" of a Vacation Condo Stay and a Bottle of 10yr Old Pappy Van Winkle. We will be socially distanced in our seating arrangement and masks must be worn at all times except when eating at your table.
