Founded in 1935 by Harry Protas, the firm was established primarily as a business-oriented collection practice in the District of Columbia. Mr. Protas developed an expertise in the field of collection and commercial law, as well as in the related areas of bankruptcy, foreclosure, repossession and creditors' rights.
Jordan M. Spivok is the senior partner in the firm of Protas, Spivok & Collins, LLC. He specializes in commercial and retail collections, creditors' rights, commercial transactional work, foreclosures, bankruptcy and business litigation. Mr. Spivok has lectured before various groups in the District of Columbia, and State of Maryland concerning fundamentals of civil practice and the collection and enforcement of judgments.

They lie, provide false information and refuse to let you speak with the actual attorneys. You will only be “allowed” to speak with a paralegal. Was told by paralegal that they have 5,000 emails and don’t have time to read them. He then refused to pull the emails I sent, told me to read the email aloud to him over the phone, then when I went to read it he told me nevermind that he had already seen the emails and knew basically what they were about and then put me on mute to reread them. Due to his inconsistency, I requested to speak with an attorney. He told me no problem that MR. Collins

This has got to be the worst company I have ever dealt with. They call me up to set up a payment plan. I make 500.00 payments each month. I pay them early. I try to call to make payments for days and no one answers. So I mail the payments way in advance. I email the employees their to let them know that I mailed the payment early. I also send them messages to send me receipts of payment with each payment made and the total balance owed on same. I have been emailing about this for awhile still no response. They only thing they say days later is that they received my money order. They want your money

I HAVE CALLED FOR 2 DAYS TO MAKE A PAYMENT AND NOT A SINGLE PERSON WANTS TO ANSWER THE PHONE UNTIL FINALLY TODAY AT 1230 AS I HAVE BEEN CALLING SINCE 9AM!!! I WAS TRANSFERRED TO 3 DIFFERENT EXTENSIONS AND FINALLLLLLY!!!!!! I GET PAUL KING WHOM TAKES THE CALL AND I EXPRESS THE PROBLEM AND ONCE AGAIN NO RESPECT OR CUSTOMER SERVICE NOT A SINGLE APOLOGY AND EVEN AFTER I MENTIONED TO HIM THAT HE DON’T WANNA APOLOGIZE HE SKIPS OVER IT AND IGNORES TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE LACK OF SERVICE!!! BEST DAY OF MY LIFE WILL BE WHEN I MAKE MY LAST PAYMENT!!!! I WILL LEAVE A REVIEW EVERY SINGLE TIME THIS BS OCCURS

I understand this company is organized to collect debts, but a little better tone in voice and customer service would be very well appreciated no need for attitudes! Also a Complete massive confusion with this company, all I can do is pray that my account ends correctly. Good luck to anyone who has to deal with this place
