Services
The staff at Lifetime Dental Care has a primary focus of making all our patients feel right at home! We consider your previous history, current oral health state and future goals to provide individualized treatment plan to suit your individual needs. Our friendly and competent staff is dedicated to patient comfort and quality care.
Dr. April also grew up as an "army brat, " but resided many years in Bowie, Maryland. She attended the University of Virginia and received a degree in Biology and Bioethics in 2003. There she volunteered at the Charlottesville Free Clinic and developed a love for dentistry. Dr. Toyer attended dental school at the University of Maryland and took part in the Pediatric Dentistry Clerkship program.
The design of our office was made to suit everyone needs. We take pride that we have a little something for everyone. Our reception area features a flat screen television, a variety of reading material, as well as a juice and coffee bar. Adult treatment rooms include flat screen televisions, massage dental chairs, and warm towels at the end of your appointment.
We also offer financing through Lending Club Financing, Prosper Healthcare Lending and the Care Credit Patient Payment Plan. CareCredit is a credit card exclusively for healthcare services. With CareCredit you can get a No Interest payment plan if paid in full within 6, 12, 18 or 24 months on purchases with your CareCredit card.
A pediatric dentist provides many dental treatments to children, ranging from routine dental care - such as cleanings - to X-ray examinations and working to determine if a child's jaw and teeth are developing properly. For most pediatric dentists, there is a lot of emphasis on preventative dental care.

Lifetime Dental Care always provides exemplary service and care for my family. My10-year-old son has been their client for over five years and has received a wide range of care from semi-annual cleanings to restorative care with anesthesia via local and general administration. Dr. April Toyer always explains the cause and give different treatment plans based on my son's tolerance. Amazing!! They are phenomenal! My little guy had work done last week and again today. He remembered the one hygienist calling her “my dentist”. They rearranged to make her be with him for his comfort. That meant a lot to this Mama making sure they are having positive dental experiences.

The 25 minute drive sometimes turns to 30 or 40 minutes depending on traffic heading towards DC but worth the experience. My 2 yo walks in and instantly starts to feel comfortable with the staff as they all talk to her and explain what is happening prior to her cleaning and exam. The receptionist is amazing, she even took Winnie the Pooh’s temperature to make my daughter feel comfortable that her Pooh Bear was also being treated. Our hygienist was wonderful and the dentist had all the patience in the world as she did her exam and explained what she need as she spoke to me. Thanks for making my

I haven't seen a dentist since I left the military in 2017. I take care of my teeth, but just never made the time to go see a professional. yesterday I had the WORST toothache. called a few offices and nobody even picked up the phone. Donte (spelling?) got me in less than an hour after I called, and Dr Leonard Toyer immediately referred me to an… endodontist for an emergency root canal. 2 hours after I called, in mind numbing pain, I was numbed and getting fixed (the issue was an old amalgam filling- had become cracked, and my tooth had died)

Took my 6 year old here for an exam and cleaning. They were great with him, efficient, and I was happy with the quality of the work. We had to come back for a cavity filling, which had my kid pretty nervous. But the staff and doc handled it fantastically. They were attentive to his nervousness, but swift and effective at getting the job done. I also felt good about the amount of information and explanation given to me and him, and that the doc was doing the right things. Billing/co-pays have also been smooth and exactly as advertised. I'm super happy with their pediatric care.

Spectacular practice. I can not give them the stars they deserve which is way more than five. Not only for adult, but also pediatric. My whole family are patients here and I have had such fantastic experience each time. With my five year old daughter getting caps on her teeth, to my husband who couldn't believe the wonderful treatment of this place. The staff is just incredible.

I brought my 4 year old to Lifetime dental to have his cleaning and check up. Due to the pandemic he was overdue. Everyone was so very welcoming. The lady helping him, Cherise, made sure all of my questions were answered and she thoroughly reviewed his medical history. It was the smoothest dental appointment from start to finish, I look forward to bringing my older children here too!

It has been difficult to find a dentist and when I got recommended to Lifetime Dental, I was hesitant, but willing to try them out. I get extreme anxiety of the dentist, and was anxious even just making the appointment. Well I called mid April to be seen mid May. I spoke with one of the office staff about what all I wanted done, "routine visit".… It was NOT brought to my attention that "ROUTINE" visit did not include a cleaning. It actually was not brought to my attention until I called today (to make an appointment for my fiancé as well) that the reservationist looked up my appointment

Dr. April is an AWESOME Pediatric dentist! She’s so personable with my son and he LOVES going there! He remembers when he got his tooth pulled he got a popsicle and he gets a token for a prize after every check up. I am so impressed with their office and staff I switched to go to their dentist office as well. I had one bad experience where one… receptionist gave me a hard time recently. She would not waive the cancellation fee if the government shutdown again. But the dentist office (the other April I think) called me back and told me to bring my son in regardless if the government
