On a cold January morning in 1972, the Oriental Services Center (OSC) opened with borrowed tables and chairs in an old church basement in Little Tokyo serving just 12 clients from House of Happiness, a board and care facility run by Ray and Iris Chee.

ARS welcomes adults with disabilities who may not be able to work competitively in the community, or who may need assistance in attending and maintaining competitive employment. Our work opportunities and job training programs are open to all regardless of gender, income, race, age, religious belief, and nationality.
With over 45 years of experience, Asian Rehabilitation Services places a diverse client list of adults with disabilities into appropriate job settings including, but not limited to, Janitorial/Custodial, Manufacturing/Packaging, Gardening/Landscaping, and any project requiring hands-on, labor intensive work.
