Acupuncture is based on the recognition in that human beings are unique bio-energetic systems, driven by a vital life force. In the western, we call this force energy; oriental medicine defines it as "Qi" (Chi). Qi or energy flows along pathways in the body, as much as streams and rivers flow across the surface of the Earth.
Cupping therapy is the method of using glass or plastic cups to create localized pressure by a vacuum. The Chinese have been doing this since ancient times by using heat inside glass or bamboo cups. Nowadays, cupping sets use suction to create the vacuum. The vacuum inside the cups causes the blood to form in the area and help the healing in that area.

Christina has been helping me treat pelvic pain and she has been great! She is very kind, takes the time to listen and understand my concerns and is a kind person. I have been suffering from extreme lower back pain for the past 4 years and have been diagnosed with arthritis in my back. After taking treatment with pain killers, with all its side effects, I have had no relief. My wife suggested I come see Christina about a neck pain. A great recommendation - after my first treatment, I noticed a big improvement, and within a couple of sessions it was gone. I have been dealing with back pain for 5 years and for the last 2 years it’s been unbearable. I have been going to a chiropractor which they suggested MRI and X-rays, without insurance seemed impossible. They also stated I would most likely need surgery. My last effort to get some relief I came to AcuLife. WoW! What a difference! After a few visits I felt like a new person. I hurt my wrist and have been in pain for 6 months. I have always had faith in acupuncture since I have had excellent results in previous years. However I lost connection with my doctor and found this clinic. I have been impressed with this clinic. The doctor is very knowledgeable and knows how to get results with massage and acupuncture. I been with her for 2 years and would not change her. She is amazing.

I feel like I need to review here because I am so amazed at the result so far. I have been struggling with lower back pain for 10 years however it just recently started to really affect my daily life. I could not sit down or stand up, climb stairs, roll over in bed, vacuum, without pain. I was a "grin and bear it" person for quite a while but finally decided I needed to do something about it as it just wasn't normal pain.
