Since 1984 Richard Kalmans has been serving Stamford, Connecticut as well as patients from other Connecticut communities, New York and other states. Dr. Kalmans graduated from the Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago, and he completed a General Dentistry Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

Very thorough; (Dr Kalmans) took his time to explain everything so that I understood. While getting my teeth cleaned, he regularly checked to see if I was all right. My experience there was actually pleasant - from the receptionist to the dental assistant to the dentist. They all seem really nice, which put me at ease so, yes, I would encourage others to pay Dr Kalmans a visit.

I’ve been going to Dr. Kalmans (every 6 months) for 30+ years! And, in all of that time he has made me feel comfortable, and well tended to during each visit. He actually makes me feel like my teeth are the only teeth on earth 😀. He is friendly, consistent in his demeanor, and always wears a smile. I highly recommend him as your ‘go-to’ dentist! And, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the lovely Rosa; Dr. Kalman’s right hand! She is the best frontline Rep in the city of Stamford!

I just went to see Dr. Kalmans for the first time after he came highly recommended to me and I am so glad I did! From Rose at the front desk who was wonderful getting me scheduled and dealing with my insurance to the doctor and his assistant, everyone was wonderful! Dr. Kalmans did the cleaning himself and was so friendly and professional. They took me in on time and spent ample time addressing any questions or needs I had. I've definitely found my dentist and am so pleased!

I've been coming to Dr. Kalmans' office for over 4 years now, and I am an extremely satisfied customer. He is very professional, SUPER nice and really gets to know your teeth (that sounds weird, but it's true).
Rosa, the office manager, is so friendly and always makes sure to get you on the phone to confirm your appointment.

My family has been in Dr Kalmans' care for over 20 years and now some of us travel from as far away as California to see him! On two occasions when we moved or changed insurance plans, we tried other dentists for convenience sake, but quickly came back to Dr. Kalmans. He is gentle, caring and explains everything, and is sensitive to how insurance factors into treatment. What ever will we do if he retires!?!
