This law firm was recommended to me and I was very pleased with the timely response. I felt that Lani was very caring about me and my case. This is a divorce after 51 years of marriage so of course it’s tough. I was not hesitant in hiring this firm. I feel my questions were answered shut the fullest. Was looking for a lawyer for my custody case. I read some good reviews on this place and was very optimistic. I sent all the paperwork that I had over to the office almost 2 weeks before my consult was scheduled. Finally the day comes to do the consult and she hadn’t even bothered to read the paperwork I sent over before hand. So the first several minutes of my consultation was spent with her just skimming over the documents I sent. Well thanks for not charging me the additional money. And I'm going to let you know here that I in-fact I did ask your office to clarify what you where billing but the answer I got was, "we have not sent you the billing statement for you to understand but when you do receive it you can call us" and we can explain to you what we are charging,,, let me remind you that your billing statement came in after 3 1/2 months late...

The staff at Akiona Law, PLLC has always been very professional and attentive to my needs. This is the third time I have used their services for my divorce/custody/child support needs. Several years ago I asked Akiona law to represent me in my efforts to complete my divorce. After excepting my case everything proceeded in a timely and ethical order. I was able to bring the other party to the table in fact right into her office to sign the papers and we came to an agreement that we both signed in their office. Unfortunately what Akiona drew up in the divorce Agreement, was not followed by the other party. Specifically the transition of property to me as it was drawn up in the divorce agreement.
