We accept most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Mai Dentistry of St. Petersburg does not participate in Health Management Organizations (HMO); however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. CareCredit and WellsFargo are here to help you pay for treatments and procedures your insurance doesn't cover.

I'm a new patient at Mai Dentistry and couldn't be more pleased, 5 stars! The office in St Pete is new and modern, equipment is start-of-the-art, staff is professional & friendly with a good sense of humor, Dr. Hultgren DMD is experienced and patient-focused, Angelynn the Hygienist is thorough with a gentle touch -- the best cleaning ever, and my appointments start on time. Overall positive experience. So glad I made the switch. Looking forward to my next dental visit.

I waited 3 weeks for my appointment just for them to schedule me with the wrong dentist when I stressed over the phone I needed to be sedated and I have a rotten tooth that hurts like hell . I told them about my phobia of the dentist over the phone they before my appointment they claimed that they would make me feel comfortable and I got the COMPLETE opposite . Cassidy was very rude to me and refused to give me her name or the women who scheduled the appointment because I said I was reporting them to the bbb of dentistry so I drove back to the office and got all of the names and I filed my report

Not to sound dramatic, but I’ve been terrified of the dentist my entire life. However, after one great experience with Mai Dentistry I’m sold. They were able to squeeze me in last minute, calmed my nerves and fully numbed my mouth before beginning. Dr. Dan was awesome and thoroughly explained everything before beginning and after we finished. I will recommend this place to everyone I talk to now.

Mai Dentistry is amazing from start to finish! They are one of the most professional and excellent facilities and staffs I have ever interacted with in my 58 years! Today, I had my teeth cleaned by Aniko. She took the time to explain everything as we went and gave me the most gentle and thorough teeth cleaning I have ever experienced! I have always had super sensitive teeth. The doctor and Aniko made sure that this was a very favorable experience for me. I scheduled my teeth to be cleaned back in July today is September 9th my birthday which is a tradition I always get my teeth cleaned I walked into the establishment having a weird feeling because I was never called text or even sent a postcard saying we'll see you tomorrow on your birthday or what not at 9 a.m. for your cleaning when I walk in they said oh we don't have you scheduled and I'm like okay then they're trying to get me to come into a later date horrible horrible horrible I will review them poorly on Yelp and every other site on the internet very horrible experience I guess I will find

I started going to Mai Dentistry late summer of 2020 and it has been a great experience since I first laid eyes on the billboard “Performing more cavity searches than TSA!” The staff is energetic, upbeat, highly knowledgeable and qualified with unwavering focus on patient satisfaction. They take pride in their work and are willing to explain every detail which makes for a fun low stress learning experience.
