Rice Engineering is a multi-disciplined structural engineering firm. We have professional registrations in all 50 states of the United States, Canada, Mexico, The Virgin Islands, Guam, and Puerto Rico. We provide engineering and drafting services for cladding systems including curtain walls, windows, storefronts, architectural panels, mesh panels, terra cotta panels, glass, sunshades, sunscreens, skylights, louvers, and blast designs.

Services
Rice Engineering began in 1994 as a one person curtain wall consultant. We incorporated in 1999 and built our office in 2001. In 2008, we expanded our building to double our size. We continue to expand our staff and expertise, and in the spring of 2018 we started another addition to our building. In October of 2018, we completed our 2nd office addition doubling our size again.
Our experienced staff of engineers and technicians have provided designs for all types various applications of custom glass projects. Our glass design services include: interior glass walls, interior decorative wall panels, canopies, laminated glass flooring, laminated glass stair treads and stringers, walkable and non-walkable skylights, glass guardrail balustrades and Infills, channel glass walls, glass fin walls, and laminate beams.
Whether the project is large or small, our engineering experience with panels will fulfill your need. Our experience helps us provide a high quality product in a very timely manner. We have provided engineering services for all types of wall and roof panel projects.
Our panel design work includes but is not limited to: aluminum, aluminum composite, perforated, insulated, corrugated, steel, mesh, phenolic, terracotta, fiber cement, rheinzink, and copper panel systems.We also provide engineering services for copings, column covers, zee and hat channel framing, cold formed metal stud framing, panel charts, blast design, and NOA submittals.
