I was pleasantly surprised when I decided to stay at the Select Inn in Fargo. There must have been a dog show in town, and, if so, a number of the entrants were staying here. However, not once did I hear a dog bark. The room was clean and quite acceptable. Without a doubt, I would stay here again, and I would recommend the Select Inn/Fargo, if you are looking for quality at a lower price.

I usually never write reviews but today i decided to do so because I felt like people had to know what happened to me. I was coming to Fargo by train and leaving almost exactly a day after I came, so I was worried about paying for two nights instead of one. I called the front desk and spoke to the lady there and she reassured me that it was okay and I could just reserve the room for one night instead of two. Note that was like three days before my trip when I was making my reservation. Then, on the actual day, when I came in, the first thing she says to me is that they are booked and I never talked

I never knew a place could have loud floors but these floors are talking day and night, prices seem to fluctuate by the hour which is irritating when you're trying to shop around for a good price, the light switches are awkwardly placed in the rooms and are very tight and smell like a high-school locker room, the fridges are so iced over they are unusable, the final negative about this place is the lack of water pressure in the shower, there was an adjustable head to increase pressure however you give up what little spread the shower is giving. However redeeming qualities are a nice clean comfortable

Well, I'll start with the best part, and that is hands down "the bar" for a little hotel it had a bit of everything from darts and billiards to actual poker tables with real dealers. The two lady bartenders that were there last night were phenomenal in dealing with the large crowd. It was packed after the G&R concert. They seemed nervous but handled everything perfectly. Now the bad... no toilet paper in the room. And a nasty dirty wet washcloth left in the tub. I dont think the housekeeper even glanced in the bathroom. So I spent the whole time wondering what else he or she probably overlooked

Reserved from Hotels.com because price and rating seemed really good. I seriously wonder where the reviewers there compare information. Do they sleep in flea infested tents and then review a hotel?
Okay, so pros: clean, good location, can walk lots of places, safe. Staff is friendly. Does not smell bad. Shower was adequate. Quiet once the neighbors settled down. Fridge is nice sized. Casino and bar attached with to go food options.
Cons: old, breakfast is B- to C. Not a lot of options, very standard. Small dining area. Under staffed. Not a lot of TV options. Housekeeping is mediocre. Lacking

This was my first time at The Box. It's attached to what seems like a little bit of a sketch hotel but the bar was nice. We arrived during happy hour. The staff gives you a pull tab before you pay. Some say free drink some say $1.00 drink, there was a 1/2 priced drink pull tab and then a regular price pull tab. I thought it was a fun idea.
The patrons here were friendly and struck up conversations with us along with the bar staff. It felt pretty welcoming and there wasn't any questionable patrons that we noticed. Seemed like this is a regulars hang out. I recommend stopping in if you

This place is totally underrated. Although it is slightly small, it's still a great place to hang out. They have great happy hour specials, and the bartenders are incredible friendly. One guy next to me spilled his drink and the bartender made fun of him! (I believe it was his 21st bday). Free wifi, super laid back, and bartenders are always willing to chat. The TVs are really close and easily viewed from anywhere in the establishment. There are both small and large tables, and a few tables where you can gamble. I came to fargo for business and have been here a few times, both by myself and

Passing through town and staying near by, I decided to stop by The Box to unwind for the night.
I wouldn't classify the bar as being a dive bar but rather divey. It is located off the lobby of a hotel so from what I could tell, it is primarily travelers who would frequent this place rather than locals who would be the patrons.
The bartender was cool, pours were stiff and pretty cheap.
For your entertainment needs, you can play some darts or shoot some pool while enjoying your drink. I did neither and opted to sit at the bar and watch what was on the television.
