A speech language pathologist and/or occupational then will then determine if a comprehensive evaluation is necessary based on your child's specific areas of need. Our son had OT at Turning Wheels with Shanna Platten and she was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very kind, understanding, and patient with our son during his time at Turning Wheels. She always had the time to chat to us about how he was doing in sessions, answer any questions we had, and always was willing to help in any way that she could. The facility is also very clean and welcoming to children which was great. I would recommend Turning Wheels to anyone considering pediatric therapy and I would especially recommend Shanna for your child's OT needs. Thanks again for everything!

I wish I was better with words so I could accurately communicate in this review what a blessing Turning Wheels and specifically Ashley (SLP) has been to my two year old son (and to me).
After having my son’s speech evaluated at a different larger therapy office in Wheaton I almost decided to wait on therapy because it was such a crummy experience but I contacted turning wheels and I am so glad I did. Everything that was lacking in the first place, that I was hoping for, I found at Turning Wheels. My initial conversations and communications with the office were great, they were so helpful, informative

When the SLP at my daughter's school suggested outside therapy, Turning Wheels was one of the locations on the list she provided. They were able to see my daughter within the same week I contacted them. My daughter has had a few in-person, and now Teletherapy, sessions. She looks forward to working with Ashley every week. It is not work, just play time, in my daughter's eyes, which is amazing, especially since I have seen improvement in such a short period of time. I highly recommend Turning Wheels!
