The owner, Heather Evetts, lives in Dallas with her AMAZING husband, 10 year old CRAZILY COOL son and their four dogs. After college, Heather worked in corporate events for the Walt Disney Studio in Los Angeles launching her career in event design and management. Her passion for social events and weddings quickly grew resulting in the launch of Simply Elegant Santa Barbara, co-founded in 2002 by Heather and her mentor/partner JoAnn.
During this time Heather also became deeply passionate about the natural beauty of the earth and all things floral. The passion for event and floral design has continued with Heather through her move to Texas, thus inspiring simply.elegant.dallas. Heather is often described as "seriously creative" enjoying the logistics behind executing a flawless event or obsessive about making an arrangement look just right for any situation.

This flower shop is amazing. I needed these flowers to be delivered same day and they did it for me. I made notes that they were for a very special person, who loves flowers and asked for different and exotic flowers and they made this beautiful set. My boss loved them and made her day! 100% recommended.

The cutest little shop in the middle of victory park! I went in one day needing flowers for my sister’s delivery day in the hospital and was so surprised with what I received. I let the gentleman in the shop know my budget and what the occasion was. He was so attentive and know exactly what to do. He didn’t offer something pre-made and made the arrangement right in the spot! It was like watching a master at work!! The arrangement was gorgeous and everyone who walked into the patient room commented on how beautiful the arrangement was. Needless to say, I’ve returned for arrangements anytime

Izzy is awesome! I found Simply Elegant on Instagram a couple of months and the arrangements really caught my eye. I have received a couple of arraignments for different occasions and I am always impressed with the finished product! The quality of the flowers are amazing and the vases that they have available are beautiful and unique. If you are trying to impress that special someone I HIGHLY recommend!!!

I hate writing bad reviews, but I would hate for someone to have the same experience as we did with Simply Elegant.
We ordered a 3 1/2 foot custom glass succulent arrangement late June/early July. This order was preceded by strained communication with the owner for weeks. Texts and emails were always many hours, even days later followed by excuses. To be frank, we were never wowed by the arrangement itself, but after the weeks of back and forth regarding the specifics, we were spent and just ready to have it completed.
For care instructions, we were told to keep them in indirect light and spritz

Came in last week looking for a Mother's Day bouquet. Perhaps I caught the worker on a bad day, but she seemed uncooperative (and even a little pompous?).
Conversation started off normally:
"What's your budget looking like?" she asks. I respond if there was perhaps a portfolio or list of designs I could choose from since this place looked more like something created from the vision of an antique dealer rather than that of a florist.
"Oh, I just go with the flow."
I'm baffled as to how she expects me to shell out $50+ and blindly trust her to make a bouquet

Simply Elegant did all the floral design for our new years eve wedding and OMG it was the most beautiful wedding I've ever seen (and not just because it was mine). The shop alone was reason enough to book on the spot...it's seriously gorgeous. Heather is such an amazing artist.
