Bowling Green Judo Club
Bowling Green Kentucky Judo Club is the premier Judo club in South Central Kentucky. Judo, a sport organized in Japan, has gained popularity since it became a part of the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Judo combines techniques of throwing, hold downs, choking and joint locks into a systematized sport that can be practiced safely at any age.

The beginning student as well as the advanced can expect to learn Judo history, terminology, fundamental and advanced techniques of break falls, standing throws, hold downs, submission chokes, submission joint locks, counters and methods of practice. Students will also be taught the belt ranking system and how to advance through the ranks.
Services
Bowling Green Judo club has a very knowledgeable coaching staff. Many of the coaches with Bowling Green Judo Club are Certified with the United States Judo Association (USJA) and/or USA Judo. Our goal is to provide the best Judo instruction with the maximum amount of fun. Safety is our highest priority.
Hillvue Heights Church is located 3219 Nashville Rd; Bowling Green, KY Facing the front of Hillvue Church look for the paved sidewalk on the front right corner of the building. The sidewalk leads to the stairs to a lower level door. Do not walk on the loading ramp as it is too steep to use safely. Enter the door and follow the hallway to the end of the hallway and make a right.

Awards
The Bowling Green Kentucky Judo competition team placed first in team competition in 2017, 2013, 2012 and 2nd in team competition 2011 and won the overall team competition at the 2010 and 2009 O. J. Helvey Kentucky State Judo Championships bringing the total to 11 state championships that Bowling Green Judo has won the overall team competition. For 7 consecutive years from 2000 to 2006, Bowling Green Judo won the state championship and set a Kentucky record for consecutive wins.
