We love this restaurant! The food is excellent and the service is wonderful. Today our table enjoyed stuffed French toast, southern breakfast, quich Lorraine, grillades and grits, and the Weidmanm's grilled salmon salad (literally the best salad I've had in some time!). The portions are bountiful, you will not leave hungry.

Always have an excellent experience at Weidmann’s. Normally dine at the bar downstairs with Kelsey (who’s fantastic)! She makes a perfect Dirty Martini w/Bleu Cheese stuffed olives:)

Stopped in for a late lunch! I heard nothing, but great things about this place. I was greeted immediately when I came in. The waitress was attentive, friendly, and timely. I got a crab cake to start. It was filled with yummy crab topped with a fried green tomato and some really good sauce. I enjoyed some pb beforehand. I just wanted a sandwich for my main entree, and I decided on the spicy chicken sandwich with chips. The sandwich was massive on a delicious ciabatta bread.

From the moment you walk in, you know you are in for a treat. Starting with their very own peanut butter and saltines at the table to the decor inside and put - including the Mississippi natives famous walk of stars on the sidewalk out front. Mimosa and Bloody Mary with crab cakes sitting atop fried green tomatoes makes for a lovely brunch.

I actually live about 2 & a half hours away from Weidman's. I stopped in a couple of times before this and had a very good experience. it is only now that I had the time to tell you guys about it. I found it by accident.. tho I WAS looking for a good meal. since Montgomery is usually a one day business trip for me I struggle sometimes to find a nice meal at mid day. I can say I'm very glad I found Weidman's! on this day I ordered the Redfish topped with shrimp with the cheese grits & carrots on the side. my companion had the steak ( med rare) with black eyed peas & carrots. All I can say to sum

Great service, the waiter was really friendly and attentive. The yeast rolls were so good.
I ordered the fire cracker salmon and I expected a little spice on it but turns out it was more like a sweet and sour, kind of like the taste of Chinese sweet and sour chicken. LOL. The sauce overpowered the taste of the salmon and the spinach casserole on the side wasn’t that great.
My partner ordered the Chicken St. Francis. It was creamy but bland as were the grits on the side.
The crab cake was good as our appetizer.
The peanut butter and crackers is a bit quirky but carries on a long standing tradition
