Our diverse group of artists specialize in full hot towel shaves and haircut services for men and women. Every team member is fully trained and continue their education every year. What inspired you to join the barber life? I was in need of fast money, but before I knew it, it became a passion. Coming from my experience as a graffiti artist and graphic designer, I decided to attend barbering school.
Our team offers the full barber experience, complete with something to watch and a complimentary drink. From haircuts and shaves to styling, we'll get you cleaned up. Our favorite products right now are Hanz De Fuko made right here in California. They are made with natural and organic ingredients so we don't have to worry about what we're putting on our heads. Sculpting clay combined with natural waxes for classic to creative hairstyles that last all day. A "Sea Salt" finish, this dry shampoo + styling cream can absorb excess oil and provide great lift.
Your appointments are very important to the Artistry of Fades Studio team members. The appointment time frame is reserved especially for you; we do not double book. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice for cancellation, or you will be charged the full amount for the session.

I want everyone to know that Danny is the best. The First time I brought my brother to this barber shop to show off , when there were other employees , a disciple was taking a bit long on my brothers hair and we had to leave A.S.A.P danny tells the other barber to let him finish , works quick and swift and we left looking clean for the wedding

Tried this place a couple months ago and it was a big mistake... went in for a basic combover, barber asked me 3 times what I was getting before he started, can't remember his name but the dude was seriously the worst barber I've had, he straight up left chunks of hair on the back of my head that he didn't cut, my wife noticed them immediately when I got home, not sure how he missed them, the price was your average for these new trendy barbershops but obviously completely overpriced for the cut I got, not worth it. Had to wait about a week and a half for my hair to kinda grow back

This was my first time here and I came in with a no shave November beard that has lasted way past its due date.
Once I set up an appointment, I came in and met with Danny. This is a guy who takes pride in his work, for sure. He explained what he was doing, was very detailed in his work, and checked on how I liked it all throughout. It was a great experience. Totally worth every dollar and more.

Went out on a limb and took a chance and walked in and got Mai as my barber. She killed it and I'm a tough customer. Her and the other barber there were both very polite and hooked up fresh cuts on their respective clients (me being one). Not my main barber, but won't hesitate to stop back next time I'm in a pinch....
Edit: the $40 price tag was cool with me the folks complaining apparently haven't had their haircut in LA lately. Any Barber shop, trendy or not is 40+

Nice setup and everyone was very nice. The haircut was not all that unfortunately I kept having to show where the fade was not blended or uneven. I've literally had $12 haircuts way better than I did here.
They charge $40. Sorry but for what you get, definitely is not worth it. I literally only went cuz it was close to where I was at the time and I needed to go somewhere in a few hours. I personally wouldn't go here again, especially for the price compared to what you get. The haircut came out good after I pointed out what wasn't properly blended, but it wasn't impressive

I drive by this place almost every day. I made an appointment so I can save time. I got to the shop on time and then had to wait 25 minutes before realizing their business is not good. The purpose of the appointment is to save the client time. I would have made a later appointment at your request and convenience if I had known that regardless of appointment you still have to wait.
All this kind of sucks considering I wanted to actually try their barbers.
