Dr. Dowd graduated from Rockhurst University with her Bachelors of Science degree in Mathematics. She then received her Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic University in Overland Park, KS. She has focused intensively for the past several years specializing in spinal decompression. She complements this with a passion for helping people understand what causes their pain and helps them have power over this.
She firmly believes that PAIN is never random. There is always an answer. Dr. Samuel J. Nave was born and raised in Salina, Kansas. He attended Kansas State University where he earned a degree in Business Marketing before attending Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, KS. I have seen Dr Dowd for a couple of years now. She is so friendly. When I first went I was nervous about what she was doing. She explained everything step by step. She got me on a treatment plan and feeling better quickly. It’s become a family affair. I have my Mom and daughter going. They love her also.

Very friendly/knowledgeable staff that incorporates educational tools to help emphasize the many assets of chiropractic maintenance for overall, sustainable, healthy, long term, health results. Additionally, patients are treated respectively….every person in the office will go above and beyond for customer convenience and care. I started going here in May when I injured myself working out. I had not been in chiropractic care for many years due to my busy schedule. I chose Grain Valley Chiropractic due to its proximity to my new home and its incredibly convenient hours. I had no clue how amazing this place would be in addition to those features. My daughter and I both go here and they are amazing!! The team is so personable and friendly!! It didn’t take them long to learn our names and know who we were and that means a lot to me! They are all very knowledgeable when it comes to Chiropractic care and that really helps when you’re not sure about starting care!! They like to have Fun and it’s a very warm and welcoming environment all around!! Highly recommend!!! ❤️

I can’t say enough good about Grain Valley Chiropractic. Both doctors and the entire staff are so kind, friendly and helpful. They work so well together to take care each and every person that walks through their doors. The massage therapist, did an amazing job getting my frozen shoulder moving again with the cupping treatment.
