I had gone there before to get certified on heavy equipment but I never went in the building until a couple weeks ago to get my certification Operating forklifts. Although it's a bit of a drive but a nice drive, I do plan on going back. I was hesitant to take the 8 hour course on forklifts but it was a class well worth taking. The rooms are nice, we sat 6 foot apart and wore masks the whole time and we put gloves on to operate the equipment. The teachers are very knowledgeable in the classroom and on the equipment and yes, I received my certifications on the equipment I operated there.

This is a state of the art training site for Local 66 operating engineers and heavy equipment operators. They have a huge selection of heavy equipment, simulators, garage space and classrooms dedicated to training operating engineers. The staff and trainers are very friendly and helpful. Mike gave us an awesome tour since my father-in-law was an operating engineer from local 66.
