Taylor Recovery Center
When I came here I was lost and didn't know where to turn. I got to Taylor Recovery and was able to completely turn my life around. I owe my sobriety to Ryan Davis, who has always been there for me when I needed somewhere to turn. Taylor recovery is by far the best sober living in Houston. Not only can you bring your pets but the staff here are so friendly and encouraging!

They really make you feel at home and are there every step of the way in your recovery. Ryan and court are amazing at their jobs and always help me with whatever I need when I have a problem. Taylor has an amazing staff that really care for you. Ryan Davis is amazing at his job and makes you feel at home.
Services
Taylor Recovery offers a full continuum of care for addiction treatment from the first day of detox until the last day of sober living. Our detox and residential facility is located in Sugar Land, TX. The medical detox program offers indivualized care for the patients based on what drugs they were using and for how long.
To myself I am only a child playing on the beach, while vast oceans of truth lie undiscovered before me. Recognizing that you may need help in relationships, with an addiction, or just to build your self-image is the first step on the road to recovery. Counseling is an excellent way to take you on down the path.
Knowing how many different people struggle with the disease of addiction, we at Taylor Recovery Center have put in motion a number of different programs designed to help support all of those who reach out to us in their time of need. We offer residential treatment, partial hospitalization, outpatient treatment, and the added bonus of sober living so that whatever needs our patients have, they can be tended to.
There are times when inpatient, residential addiction treatment is needed to provide the individual with the highest probability of success. For some, intensive outpatient treatment along with 12-step meeting will be all that is needed. For the rest, Taylor Recovery offers residential addiction treatment at their Sugar Land facility.
Not all addictions are like those that are highlighted on TV or social media. In fact, millions of substance use disorders do not reach catastrophic ends at all. Of the nearly 22 million people with a substance use disorder in the United States, many of them can benefit from outpatient treatment, which is the least intense type of addiction treatment available.

I’m lucky enough to live right in Houston so took advantage of the Houston drug detox outpatient treatment facility. To be honest, I was afraid they’d say I need to be living inside their drug detox in Houston facility. After careful assessment with the therapist at Taylor though, they agreed that being an outpatient would work for me. I’m doing very well now and still come back every now and then for a tuneup. The staff of the drug detox in Houston never fails to remind me of my sessions!

After a lot of fights with the family, I knew I had to solve my drug dependency problem. What I didn’t expect was how good it was at the Houston drug rehab. The place is pretty high-end! It’s a gated facility with a basketball court, a gym, and even meditation lessons which I took full advantage of. I think the amenities alone in this drug rehab in Houston contributed to how well I adjusted to recovery. Close to the end of my stay at Taylor, being in the Houston drug rehab actually felt like a vacation.

Impressed with how well the drug detox in Houston worked for me. This isn’t my first time checking into a facility and the last time, I stayed sober for 27 months before relapsing. This time, I knew exactly what to do and voluntarily placed myself in Houston drug detox. They gave me a full assessment and took my BPD seriously when creating a program for me. I am now a successful graduate of the drug detox in Houston and happily sober and stable for 28 months now!

Very happy with the service I got at this alcohol rehab in Houston. I’m from a completely different city and trying this Houston alcohol rehab was a risk because I had to leave behind everything I knew to get well. They were very welcoming and I’ll always be grateful for Taylor’s warm welcome. When I left, everyone was so happy for me and I never felt more capable of living a sober lifestyle. It’s been 19 months since the Houston alcohol rehab and I’m very confident about my progress!

Checking in this drug rehab in Houston was a shot in the dark because I didn’t really think anyone can help me with my substance dependency. Like most people, I thought I had special problems that can’t be solved by a generic Houston drug rehab. Boy, was I wrong. After a thorough examination, the therapist realized I had depression together with my substance abuse and they made a program specially for me. It’s like everything clicked into place. I’ll always be grateful for Houston drug rehab because they left no stone unturned!

One manager "Jessica" told me she went through the medical records because she was curious about my trauma and what I said in therapy and drug test results. She also did this for ALL other employees working there. Clearly taking advantage of her position. I was bullied by several staff members Jessica, Stanton, counselors, nurses. Theresa would constantly wake me from sleep. Thus making me work sleep deprived for months. I was promised a raise from Courtney the whole time. He would also harass me like the clients would. He let clients sexually assault me also and give them no consequences

They say they're pet friendly for service animals - no way! Awful experience had here and when I decided to leave for another facility, because of how my dog and o were treated, after they were to drop me at the airport, I was told last minute I have to find my own ride! What rehab doesn't do airport pickups/drop offs? Had to take an Uber last minute. The staff is uncaring and unprofessional and DEFINITELY not HIPPA compliant. They freely talk about other patients in front of patients! Avoid at all costs!

Helped this place designed their Houston drug rehab program and worked with Court. The people here at Taylor Recovery Drug Detox are amazing to work with. I can say that I am proud to be part of their Drug detox program in Houston. We are all required to train weekly within the Drug detox Houston treatment programs and I can say it’s a very good Houston drug rehab program

Taylor saved my life. Court Nichols, John Tarisi, Jessica Hill and all of the staff have become like family to me. I have almost 6 months clean and sober and I wouldn't have been able to do this without Taylor. They're pet friendly, they offer PHP, IOP and outpatient. Their facilities at Sugarland, Hockley and Lavender Street all have their own chef so food is provided. We have activities on the weekends and they have all become like a family to me. Even through Covid and this years brutal snowstorm we continued to have groups, meetings and they staff really took care of us when we&apos

My brother had been in and out of centers for 20 years before encountering this dump. He is now deceased. I will say that he emerged from this sham a completely different person. Other reviews are correct as my brother told me that drinking and drugs happened on the premises. Many of the friends that he met here have died. Court Nichols is a terrible counselor as he condoned and encouraged an affair. This place only cares about getting paid. Don't send your family here if you actually want them to recover. You may be burying them like we did.

This place is the most backwards facility I've ever been through. Staff is disrespectful and uncaring in addition to the way the staff continues to talk bad about clients IN FRONT of clients. Structureless mess and uncaring. The absolute worst place to come to to get genuine and loving recovery. Feels like high school all over again. Mean is the perfect description of my experience.

I stayed at this facility for two months and it was the most perverted recovery experience I've ever come across. The facility and treatment program is designed to hussle money from the family members with loved one's struggling with addiction. They do not run a transitional living program as Kristi Taylor holds no desire for you to recover and leave the facility. There are residents who have lived there for years and are not encouraged by staff to reintegrate themselves into life or recovery. Treatment centers will inform you of how non-therapeutic and crooked this facility especially

I've been at Taylor Recovery for about 5 Months, and the staff members here have done everything in their power to help me stay sober. Taylor Recovery has two nice vehicles to take us to three different AA/NA meetings a week, plus a meeting here on property. Four Councilors are here Monday through Friday which has helped tremendously, because you can schedule an appointment or just walk in if you are having a tough day. Zach, Taylor's chef, is here Monday-Friday cooking breakfast, lunch and dinner, and will even cook big meals on holidays which made me feel at home when I didn't

This place has been a god send, I've been here for almost a year. I came in unstable and unsure. They've given me a chance to grow, they've worked with my probation officer, and they've been extremely supportive. This place is what you make it. If you are willing to do the work there's no reason why you shouldn't succeed here. I personally plan on staying another year.

I currently have 8 months sober, I have a job, and I've been able to have my dog through it all. I have great roommates and we all hold each other accountable.

Bobby is by far my favorite counselor

Completly structureless mess. Clients are relapsing constantly. It's in a drug ridden unsafe part of Houston. I highly recommend finding a different sober living if you want to stay clean.
