Joe was beyond amazing.
There was so much thoughtfulness put into the service that the day was truly something worthy of someone’s sending off.
I really appreciated the kindness, generosity, and consideration thst was put into my friends service.

My sisters and I are so pleased with the care we received courtesy of Mr. Joe Schuka, Funeral Director, at Libby. Words cannot express how wonderful Joe has been to our family during the difficult loss of our beloved father, Thomas Belladone. From the initial phone call we made, to our first meeting and finally, day of the memorial service, Joe’s kindness and patience shone through every transaction. We lost a brother last week. He lived in Beacon, and I live in CT. I was given Libby Funeral phone number from the nursing home. It was the first number on the list, and I wasn't in the best of shape to shop around. I am so glad that Libby was first on the list. We did a cremation, and bought an Urn. They did a great job in the handling of everything. My brother was treated with dignity, and respect. Joe was the person who helped me. He was compassionate, and sincere. Thank you for taking good care of my brother.

My father had passed and I was dealing with the hardest pain I’ve ever dealt with and not knowing what to do. I walked into Libby’s and spoke with Joe Schuka, from beginning to end he was there helping me. Libby’s offered us a beautiful experience. Before the funeral service we kept in contact. Joe always had time to respond back right away. Even after my fathers funeral service Joe still kept in contact. I couldn’t ask for a better place to help me through this difficult time. Joe is the best kind of person in this business. He knows he has a job to do but stays humble and kind and has went above and beyond during my families difficult time losing my father recently and doing it all during the Covid-19 pandemic. He was very thorough and gave me all the options that were available to us and helped to make one of the worst times in our life bearable and even help shine a light through the darkness. He was always there if I had any questions and even helped navigate me through the process to understand everything. Planning a funeral can be very overwhelming and terrifying

It is never easy losing someone and the days immediately after are always very difficult. Finding support and guidance is important. My family and I have been in Beacon for many years and the staff at Libby’s Funeral Home has been there for us each time we've had to say good-bye to a loved one. Not that "Loved it" is an appropriate statement to make about a Funeral Home, but 5 stars are truly deserved. During a traumatic time, Libby Funeral Home shows the utmost in caring and compassion.
