Flu season is back so of course I got sick. Finding a health center that doesn't charge an obscene amount of money to be seen is always a struggle. It was the closest, same-day appointment center I found on Yelp. They take several types of insurance, including mine which only charged a $10 copay. They even have their own app where you fill out your symptoms and payment information right there.
Dr. McKnight grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and went to college in Nashville, Tennessee at Vanderbilt. She has lived in Prairie Village, Kansas since 1993 and still calls it home. Dr. McKnight graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science Degree before going on to UMKC School of Dentistry for her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 1997.
Dr. Megan Konz grew up in Overland Park, KS and now lives in Kansas City. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Creighton University in 2012 with a major in biology along with extensive coursework in psychology. She then went on to UMKC Dental School to complete her dental degree in 2016. Dr. Konz had a membership in the Advanced Restorative Studies Program, where she completed complex dental cases.

The strongest statement I can make is that I have been a patient (and a fan) for at least 25 years! They have a fabulous practice management. Drs McKnight and Konz are extremely knowledgeable, qualified and very personable making you feel more like a friend than a patient. My hygienist, Theresa, is the best! She educates me as she works - it never feels like an admonishment or that I have failed to do what they suggest. I truly enjoy going to the dentist...THIS dentist!

In my 42 years I’ve been to numerous dentists and unfortunately had mixed experiences at all of them. Genetically I don’t have the best teeth or gums and I also complain a lot ;) I was referred to Dr McKnight by my periodontist- it was a fabulous referral. I’ve been in Dr Ms care for about 3-4 years now and it’s been phenomenal. No up selling, just pure care for you, your teeth and your family. I’ve referred her to several of my friends and family - they all agree, Dr M and the team are the best and they care. Give them a try and you’ll agree.
