Spurgeon Painting, Inc. is a full service, residential, commercial and light industrial painting contractor serving the North Bay. Founded in 1976 by Robert Spurgeon, who serves as President and co-owner along with his wife Karen, Spurgeon Painting has a crew of 20+ painters and full support staff.
With industry affiliations such as Painting & Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA), Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC), Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), and North Coast Builders Exchange (NCBE), we are able to stay abreast of current coatings and application technology, as well as the latest safety requirements.

Having served the North Bay since 1976, Spurgeon Painting fully understands what customer satisfaction entails. Assurance that all work will be performed safely and that all waste products will be disposed of properly. In keeping with their company philosophy, Clover Stornetta Farms consistently maintains its facilities to a very high standard.
Spurgeon Painting has the knowledge, skill and experience to manage the most difficult painting situations, whether they are new construction or repaint, including those where lead-based paints are encountered. We concentrate on top quality workmanship using specified products; we will never substitute a lesser product unless requested to do so.
Spurgeon Painting began as a residential painting company in 1976, and while we have branched out to other types of work, we have continued to serve residential customers throughout the North Bay. We understand what is entailed in customer satisfaction, and make every effort to ensure that every homeowner is extremely pleased, not just with the final product, but with the entire experience.
Painting wineries requires expertise in several areas, especially regarding product knowledge. Needs may range from simple powerwashing to elastomeric coatings, or a bacteria-resistant film may be necessary. Rust resistant and/or environmentally friendly coatings are often specified, and of course, standard architectural paints remain part of most projects.
We began painting homeowner associations in 1991, and have worked for dozens, many of them two (and even three) times. Our HOA customers call us back again and again not only because we provide a quality paint job, but also because we know how important service is. Our work is always performed in an organized, timely way, with very little inconvenience to the homeowners.

Since 2012, we have been using Spurgeon Painting for both our Commercial and Residential Properties here in Petaluma. Their pricing and quality of work is excellent. They have always been very easy to work with. Whenever we need painting done, I don't get multiple quotes from multiple painters. I call Spurgeon because I know that the job will get done correctly and within our budget.
