As we pulled up all of the cooks AND servers were sitting outside smoking right in front of the door. This was a huge turn off, but we decided to go against our gut and try anyway. Our waitress was fine, a little short, but ok. The other waitress was drinking a beer, had shorts that referred to illegal substances, and was not wearing any shoes throughout the restaurant and the multiple times she went outside. That is NASTY.
The food tasted good, but the atmosphere felt dirty.

Was there Saturday evening, waited 45 mins for meal, ended up getting it boxed up togo. Ordered a Reuben with fries... received rye bread with cheese and a hamburger pattie.... Gal picking up her food that was called in togo stated she ordered less than 30 mins ago and her food was sitting waiting for her. I was less than impressed!

Came on Valentin day they was busy...the fish was good...we order appetizers my dinner salad and appetizers came out at the same time my dinner did.. my fish was good.....
The waiter was running around but still had a smile on her face....she did her best to make sure everything was going ok...when we ask for something she did get it to us......
All in all I would come back.....

They have a pasta night on Thursdays and it's a pretty good deal. You won't go home hungry cause it's all you can eat. They have all the fixings laid out and you put whatever you want in a bowl then take it to the chief and he makes the pasta right in front of you! I haven't been there for any of their other specials but the pasta night is awesome!

I'm here from Houston TX and this is one of my favorite places we've been here by far. One of the only places that offered pickle chips and were extraordinary. I got a burger and it was one of the best I've had while here, all my fellow Texan family member were huge fans of all the we ordered from the pork tenderloin to the chicken sandwich. I recommend all those near and far to make a trip to the mill creek Restaurant and lounge

The server was friendly and the food was disappointing. The first order of onion rings arrived to the table burnt; the replacement was better and was only OK. I ordered a Cobb Salad that came with lunch meat, it should be removed from the menu. The waitress did not offer to refill our ice teas. I was hopping for better.

On a recent trip back home to Okoboji, I had a craving for a good old fashioned Burger 'n Fries. I was taken to Mill Creek. I wasn't too impressed with the dimly lit decor, but I am not rating the interior design. Besides, in my experience, the "Dives" are usually the best and Mill Creek did not disappoint. I swear, the cheeseburger from the first bite to the last was by far one of the very best, juiciest, seasoned-just-right and cooked perfectly Burgers I have ever had. The only reason why this place is getting a 1 is because that's the lowest it will go. If you ever get the joy of sitting at the end of the bar with a full view of the kitchen I recommend it if you're prepared to walk immediately out of the establishment. Tonight we witnessed the cooks rubbing their eyes, nose and head and then turning to tend to food without washing their hands. One of the workers removed a bandaid on his finger, replaced it without washing his hands. There were people that had been there for two hours who still had not received their food. We obviously left hungry!

It was ok. The waitress got not just one order wrong but two. When we said that was the wrong order she said oh I thought you said the 3 meat pizza when we said no she replied oh I really can't hear because you are lower from me. Would not come back and check on us eather. Had to go up to the bar to ask for more to drink. Not a good experience.

The food was mediocre and the service was less than desirable. It took forever to be waited on and even longer to get our food. The wait staff acted inconvenienced by our slightest requests. This is the third time we have tried it with the same results each time. We will more than likely not be returning.

Half cooked fries, 'calzone' was a tortilla with tomato sauce and gross cheese. She not once asked us how our food was, we had to call her over if we needed anything and it was too loud so it was a lot of work... Then to get a refill i had to go searching for her.. Then she rolled her eyes and handed me it back after she filled it. Friends patty melt was burnt, and had no seasoning or anything.. Not happy, will not return.
