Matt co-founded Edge Wealth in the fall of 2006. He has 20 years of institutional trading experience. Matt was the head of trading desks at several large investment banks including Smith Barney, Prudential and JP Morgan. He gained proprietary trading experience after having worked at Greenwich Arbitrage.
Edge believes in adhering to a coherent investment philosophy and that a set of core beliefs is at the heart of successful investing. Our objective is to prudently maximize investment returns, seeking long-term growth and capital preservation. As a rule, our Principals at Edge invest in the same strategies and themes as those of our clients.
Edge Wealth Management, LLC ("Edge") was founded by Matt Weinberg and Doug Spitz in the fall of 2006. We are a registered investment advisor ("RIA") with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. As an RIA, we are a fiduciary using a fee-based model as opposed to a commission-based platform.
