In 2008 I hosted my first Circle City Hygiene Forum with the desire to provide hygienists a space to learn from our shared experiences, to elevate our medical skills and provide our quality care. Aside from the education and professional support, CCHF provides closeness which continues to grow year after year.
This process will expose more of the natural tooth structure, and the treatment may be carried out for a variety of different reasons. Crown lengthening is a simple surgical dental procedure to remove excess gum tissue and sometimes bone. The crown lengthening procedure may be necessary for a couple of different situations.
One of the best methods to abate this periodontal disease is to remove the tartar through a process referred to as scaling. A deep cleaning is a specific procedure performed to treat gum and periodontal disease. It often must be completed because you may have missed your regular professional cleaning appointments every six months.

From start to finish, a great experience! Most importantly, my gums look and feel great. Dr. Edwards and his staff explained everything exceptionally well, while also providing ample reference material to ensure a successful outcome. Dr. Edwards was fabulous, and so was everyone else who works at Indy Implants and Periodontics. I had an extraction and implant. Both procedures went smoothly. Implant Dentistry is the model for how everything in the health care system should work. (Dr Edwards has done 2 implants for me, the first one on 30 minutes notice on an afternoon he was closed for continuing education! But he knew I was in serious pain with a cracked tooth and he made time.) Absolute top quality at every single level ... Dr Edwards is brilliant, hard working, resourceful, and 100% trustworthy. Dr Edwards is fantastic. Not only does he do great work, but he's thoughtful and considers all his patients' needs (like finances and location). One of the reasons I've continued to refer people to Edwards is how he treats his employees. He demands professionalism and treats his people with respect. Dr Edwards and Staff were great to work with for my implant. Not only is Dr Edwards well qualified, but his care and follow through were fantastic.
