I had to come to Roanoke because my mom was very sick. While I was here I found Hybrid, I had been out of training for a few months due to some injuries. This was a perfect opportunity to get back to movement and some classes. These folks are beautiful people. The best things about martial arts and training are alive and well here. I will never forget my experience I had with these great people. Hope to get back soon. Thanks so much!!!

My Boyfriend and I moved to Roanoke about 3 weeks ago. Bjj is his passion and he literally needed to find a gym. Dennis and everyone in the gym have been nothing but great. We had some of the hardest times for two young people but I've never seen him happier. Seeing him so happy makes me want to give it a try now. I had a fantastic time training at Hybrid while I was in Roanoke for work. It was a very welcoming atmosphere for a visiting student and the knowledgeable instructors provided excellent instruction. I met a lot of great people that I look forward to training with in the future and I highly recommend them.

I was in town for work and stopped by twice for BJJ. Everyone was incredibly welcoming. I had a great time grappling with the guys and now I'm able to take some of what I learned back home. I'll definitely choose Hybrid next time I'm around and recommend it to any locals considering joining the Hybrid family!

When I came off of Active Duty where I started my jiu jitsu journey, I searched for a place that would "fit". I contacted the owners at Hybrid and they were more than welcoming. What I really enjoyed was as soon as I walked through the door, no one turned their backs and pretended I wasn't there. Instead, every person made an effort to introduce themselves. Absolutely one of the most welcoming gyms I have been to. It contains an extreme wealth of knowledge through a number of black belts, who are all willing to help. The students here are the most detailed and technical I have seen
