Direct access physical therapy is available in the state of Florida for the first 30 days of treatment. After 30 days you are required to have a signed Rx from a physician. Restrictions apply to HMO's. To help patients with lymphedema and pelvic issues, know that they are not alone. We can help. I want patients to return to their normal life without worrying about what might happen due to their diagnosis.

After all, a diagnosis does not define you. My mission is to help patients with lymphedema and pelvic issues, know that they are not alone. I want them to be able to return to normal life without having to worry about what might happen due to their diagnosis. Your diagnosis does not define you.

I discovered a lump in my breast when I was just 25 yrs old. I was terrified! So I started searching online for anything and everything about breast cancer. I saw multiple articles talking about how physical therapists can help patients with breast cancer with post radiation, chemotherapy problems likes pain and lymphedema.
Ultrasound helps the therapist and patient see if there is improvement with therapy. The therapist will gently place the ultrasound probe on the belly, above the pubic bone. Patients will be able to see the movement of their pelvic floor when performing the kegel exercise correctly. Many patients tend to bear down instead of closing and lifting the pelvic floor when doing a kegel.
SEMG and real time ultrasound imaging to re-learn how to contract the pelvic floor muscles responsible for urinary continence. Pelvic floor progressive KEGEL exercises (from laying down to performing kegels squatting/jogging). Biofeedback therapy with surface EMG and real time ultrasound imagine so patients can visually see how to contract their pelvic floor muscles.
What to expect at your 1st appointment: you will 1st fill out a questionnaire specific to your condition such as incontinence, pregnancy pain, tail bone pain, constipation etc. Please fill it out with as much detail to help your therapist. You will also sign a consent to treat form.

You will change into a gown and the initial evaluation will include a spinal/ pelvic alignment analysis ( alignment/ posture is everything!), visual inspection of your perineum, palpation of your abdominal area and muscles in your hips which attach to the groin. You may need an internal vaginal exam or rectal exam.

Erica is not only knowledgeable of her work but she is the most compassionate and loving therapist I have met. For years I struggled with pelvic pain due to endometriosis and finding Erica was a lifesaver to the pain and psychosomatic pain experience I was having.
I am forever thankful for her gift as a pelvic therapist and as a sweet human being. I recommend her work to anyone who is experiencing any pelvic related issue.
Thank you Erica!

I became a client of Harmony Lymph and Pelvic Therapy at the recommendation of my doctor following my prostate surgery. Erica (owner and operator) was patient, kind and knowledgeable about not just pelvic floor therapy but many other aspects of the body - with services like massages, exercises, pep talks, acupuncture, etc. When I hit a plateau with my recovery, she worked with me to identify the issue and move me past that difficult spot. She is an expert and professional in her field and her quality of care is incomparable. I cannot say enough about all she has done to help me get back not only

SIMPLY THE BEST PHYSICAL THERAPISTS I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! The place is Clean, plenty of space (one client at a time)! Miss Erica is the owner and VERY knowledgable about the body. Erica works the entire region affected by the lower back unlike the large physical therapy places (like my hips for instance). She takes her time with you. I highly recommend her. You will be supporting a new small business & You Will get more attention than those huge rehab places!
Harmony Lymph & Pelvic Physical was recommended to me by a friend and now I want to recommend it to anyone suffering in pain. Whether you

Erica is the best at what she does!!! She is comforting in such an uncomfortable situation, recovering from a prostatectomy. Not only did she teach me how to work through my incontinency, she taught me some great new workout routines.
I highly recommend Erica and her PT system!
